Just about every visitor my neighbour gets they insist on parking like this, never any cars on the road either, I feel for our neighbour with a mobility scooter.

I just can't fathom the mentality.

We have neighbours whose visitors do the same. Very odd and very annoying !

yes particularly when you turn up at the last minute for a screening at the Everyman and that's the only "space" available...

Edit: It seem's it's a Fiat 500 thing:

Deliberately parking badly in a bay so no one else can park is a knob thing. But they might not have done and the other cars have moved away before you took the pic

Generally speaking the twunts just abandon their cars like that.

Used to live on a terraced street where pretty much every house parked like that right outside their houses, so the street would be full of spaces just not big enough for anyone else to park in. They were twunts though, they'd move their cars forward/back two or three feet after someone else left, just so they could park directly outside the house. Infuriating.

I'm assuming here that when the fiat 500 owner parked up there was probably a car parked up between them and the SUV to the right of the picture, and that the car has driven off, hence leaving that gap.

Thats the problem with images like this, we might be all getting in a rage about the fiat for no reason.

Parked legally fully within a parking bay, that's about as good as it gets.

Yep, looks pretty much perfect to me. To the person who originally posted this image, unless you were there when they parked, there’s no way you could know whether or not there was a car parked immediately in front of it when it parked (or, for that matter, something like an original mini parked behind it).

I think it's fair to assume the car was dumped in the bay without any care for whoever else might need to park, you can see that on most streets every day. If there are no lines to align with front and back, you can guarantee the only thing most people are bothered about is whether they're parked well enough to avoid a ticket.

You can assume all you like, but you’re basing that assumption about an individual with zero evidence to back it up.

Maybe... Even if a car was parked directly in front of them, they should still show some consideration and park close to the start of the bay rather than 2 metres away from it wasting so much space.

Selfish, inconsiderate knobhead springs to mind ...

Mirrors folded in to make passing easier, or to avoid having them smashed off by someone willing to make their annoyance at such fkwittery known ?

You can still bend those back the other way if you give them a good shove with your elbow, it might break the motor who knows

The only 'enlightening' thing you've revealed is your slackjawed mouthbreathing solution to crap parking - criminal damage. Nice one, brains.

Jog on.
