Usual ignorant egits, I'll just abandon my car here as its closest to the shop door, sod the dropped kerb.

But I suppose he is being considerate really by not parking in the disabled space in front of them.

I did once politely told a driver sitting in her car she was blocking a dropped kerb to which she said "Well there isn't a sign"

If you have deep pockets, then what about this system...

I have a 'shared' drive which is owned by me.

My neighbour treats it like he owns it & regularly blocks me in.

Attitude from him is simple - f**k off, I will park where & how I want too.

Drive currently blocked by his daughters car. Who has gone on holiday for 10 days.

Politely asked if the car could be moved too allow me access.

Response?

One word. No.

And with that he loaded suitcases into his car & drove away!!!

Spoke too plod - wouldn't get involved as its private property.

Neighbour is a ****.
Sadly, the only way to deal with this is a fight.

If it’s owned by you is there anything in the deeds about access? If he’s parked his car on your land can you not move it yourself?

My neighbour accesses their drive over our land but it’s in our deeds that we have to maintain access.

What's the story there?

MOT history.

That and tyres lasting about the same mileage...

Must be tricky to park something so boxy...across 2 disabled spaces, and with no blue badge. Though, perhaps they forgot to put it out smile

Putting a normal car in a garage is a waste of time and space for many, they would rather have a home office or a play room.
Indeed plus most modern cars won't fit in a garage anyway, and new build "garages" are a joke too and would never fit a regular car in hence why there are so many 2 & 3 car families parking anywhere they can on the side of the road.
One of the reasons for buying our new build was the oversized garage. The house was a show home and the garage was the sales office, so is approximately 18" wider than normal.
Yes, mine is a joke and its so annoying. I have aTVR which really needs putting away in the winter.
I've had to knock out part of the inner wall to enable me to open the door to get out of the car.
I'm going to put a side door eventually.
You may have seen this gem before, but I just love this video of an elderly guy parking his FIAT Panda biggrin

To be fair, it looks like a private car park where a blue badge doesn't necessarily mean anything.

Does this count? Half way down a footpath on Boxhill… one has been there a few years, the other seems pretty recent.

Why are you cycling on a footpath?

Both 4x4s, don't you know you can park them anywhere?

I think it was a bridle way but either way it’s not somewhere you’d expect to see a vehicle let alone 2, it’s impressive they got that far down

I wouldn’t worry about it, it looks fine and it’s hardly busy is it.

Too right, I am with you on this one, when people learn to open their doors carefully I will park in the lines, totally p@£D off with having to shell out for repairs because some d&%K who couldn't give a crap about his motor or mine whack's his doors against mine and buggers off leaving me with the bill for it. 1200 quid was my last one as they did the front and rear passenger doors. I've worked hard for my stuff all my life and I take care of it so if anyone has an issue with the way I park and they are brave enough to tell me to my face then they get both barrels.
