Tewkesbury Starbucks this morning. Empty car park. No badge. Arrogant type looking man, watched him arrive, park, barge his way through and then slam the door in someones face as he was leaving.

Either that, or a totally inept driver, if he can’t park straight.

Good knows how bad his other road skills are.

Well of course he did.

His life has been so filled with personal failure and disappointed looks from his peers, that he absolutely has to win at something.

On the walk to school this morning I spotted a car parked where the yellow squiggle is in the pic. On a double yellow, maki my the junction unsighted. What looked like a blue badge on the dash.
Not a single other car parked on the road. A few feet away it’s a single yellow.

Ten minutes later on my return I saw a guy trot (yes, trot) from the middle house to the car get in and drive off.

So, if he’d parked on the single yellow, not only would he have caused less of a problem for other drivers but he’d have been closer to his destination.

Ignorant and thick as mince.

Whilst I tend to agee with you, you dont have to have a problem walking to get a blue badge, although they are allowed to park just about anywhere, there are some exceptions, I would have thought close to a junction was one of them. So yes a tit.

I tried to look it up on google maps, Sutton Close, Northampton, wasnt the same pic, just interested, is it Sutton Close Northampton?

Unfortunately they walk and drive among us. I deliberately didn't go round it and sat behind it for a few mins. Totally empty.

Car approached my rear and I had to move around

I wasn’t sure whether to include the bit about the blue badge tbh. 90% certain it was one on the dash but it was across the road. The main point was (blue badge or not) the driver could’ve parked closer to where they were going *and* been on a single yellow rather than double. Although at that time the penalty may have been the same.

Sutton Close (entrance to) is just visible, the three white lines bottom right of the pic. I’m stood on Yardley Drive the side road opposite is Falcutt Way, with Holly Lodge Drive further on.

£80 / year seems an absolute bargain for a dedicated parking space silly

Cars on the left are parked from there until the junction(you can see the indicating car pulling out from the wrong side of the road), which is the only entrance and exit for a busy car park. As you can see everyone has started passing the cars despite having nowhere to go, add into that people pulling in with nowhere to go, quite the mess was created.
Interestingly there used to be double yellows along here for this reason, but they've gone.

I do wonder at times. The Mitsubishi abandons his car well into the space in front, along comes another careful driver and managers to back in, well almost, despite there being loads of adjacent spaces.

Why do they do that?

Looks like he could have parked on the road, no lines, or worried it may be hit.
