Two for the price of one.
Wardens often patrol this car park so hopefully they return to a ticket..

Granted I’m not in full possession of the facts here, and the car facing the police car may be a Lincoln Navigator, but if it’s the same size as the police car, and I couldn’t safely negotiate that gap with it, I’d seriously consider shredding my driving licence.
The fact that the Keystone Kop has parked there is another story, the police are a valuable asset to society, but on occasion, they can be as thick as bricks.

The facts are I can assure you there wasn't enough space. I saw 3 cars trying to pass, a Peugeot 207, an Astra and a 3 series. All were forced to reverse back up the road. There didn't seem to be any sort of emergency either given the casual nature in which they parked and headed towards a nearby home.

Would you have preferred that they park sideways over 4 spaces?

I think that all things considered, that is quite considerate parking.

I think we would all prefer them to find somewhere more appropriate to park their enormous vehicle

I don’t wish to extrapolate this into a saga, so I’ll accept what you say as true.
Maybe my spatial awareness is suffering, or I’ve an inflated idea of my ability, or maybe I just need to visit Specsavers, but looking at that gap, I’d think that a 207 could get through sideways.

Nick and Mart??

If it was a busy day, with lots of families on the footpath and cars trying to pass, I would probably agree as well.

But, much would depend on whether there was anywhere suitable to park, within a 10min walk.

Add me in too.

If you want to get a long vehicle, park it somewhere else. Although judging by how empty the area is, imagine was overnight/quick morning stroll whilst heading else where, so no harm done.
