I find a lot of folk don't understand how parking sensors work, stop as soon as they beep, and don't use their mirrors.
Obviously don't use their eyes either when they get out. BenS94 said:

Must think their ugly little crossover is much longer than it is, photo doesn't really show but it is sticking out a fair chunk. It was raining so got in my car before taking a photo.
Although this is excessive, if they need access to the boot, getting a dog in and out for example, the hedge would get in the way. We usually park forward in situations like this as our dog is getting elderly and needs a run upSebring440 said:

Girl at work was driving around with her lights off at night without realising because she learnt in a car with auto lights.
Partly the design doesn't help. Dials are illuminated, lights on or not, my car has no 'lights on' warning light and the switch is out of sight my my knee. Of course there is a big thing you can look out of called a windscreen. WarrenB said:

Obviously don't use their eyes either when they get out. I jumped in the Series Land Rover the other month, put it in reverse and stuck it straight into the hedge, because I was so used to reversing beepers, and I am a knob.

I’ve had this on both VW and Toyotas, but without a camera the problem with sensors is they’re not completely accurate with hedges rather than solid walls.

I wouldn’t do this but there a a couple of places I park on a regular basis where if I reverse in fully I can’t open the boot or stand behind the car at all because of bushes - usually of the prickly variety. Forced to reverse part way in, get stuff out of boot then back up another foot. Sebring440 said:

How can they get away with that? That's public street furniture which you cannot just do marketing on.Hackney said:

I wouldn't park there if I was using the boot, in reality I wouldn't have noticed it if wasn't sticking out into the roadway. I'd have taken a photo with my car perfect in the space to show how far out it was, but it was raining and I didn't want you all to see I drive a Kia.For context it's a sainsburys car park, so reasonable to leave your boot clear, but probably makes more sense to park nose first. I was only doing a basket shop so it went in the passenger footwell. Although there's spaces just further down with a pavement behind the spaces so you can reverse into and do a trolley shop if you wish.
