Overtaking a line in of cars on a NSL road in a Rover 800 rental back in, I guess, late 80's, I hit the ' clutch' and locked up all 4 wheels. Car squirmed a bit, I realised what I'd done and lifted off the brake.

I run two autos now and one manual - driving a manual is the one I had to think about so as to not stall.

5 ton buses do not like 3mph in top gear and the look on the faces of the pax as they were shook up and down as though they were in a sauce bottle was not one i wish to repeat!!

That made me burst out laughing for no reason!
