100hp/L from an SR20DE? Impressive, if not slightly unbelievable. Must have some nice cams etc.

Really do quite like that - but if I were in the market for an inappropriate, roofless two seater from the mid-90's, my money would still go on a Renault Sport Spider.

That’s exactly the car I was thinking of as I read the article.
That's still a good looking car 20-odd years on.

I also thought it was a rebodied NSX, but this article suggests not

Autobacs bought Tommy Kaira and developed the zz2. I'm not aware of one fully working (they moved under their own steam but only upto a few mph).

The ZZ-S made 170-175hp. They are fast, sound great and handle well. The rough idle on the one in the advert is due to the Keihin carbs (indeed stamped "motorcycle race use only"). It can be cured with a couple of 45 webers (185hp) or fuel injection (210hp).

No heaters, carpet or anything else not needed to make it work.

The price in the ad is speculative I think. The guys doesn't know what to value it at (nor does anyone really).

(I've got two of them)

That’s an impressive garage with 2 of them, care to share a picture, or even better attend a Sunday Service. Would love to see one in the flesh.

Lets see if this link will work. If not I'll try again when I get home.
