There were 2+2 middies before. Urraco, 308 GT4, Mondial, Merak. All very cramped though. It might have been an Italian tax break thing.

Mr Demon old fella, from the long, long history of your posts, the day you actually buy a Lotus instead of trolling the boards will be the day hell has officially frozen over.

I don't think it's something anyone here is counting on, nor a prerequisite for their ongoing success.
I have bought 2 Lotus cars one Brand new Elise and one Exige and spent a happy 5 years in them, you know very little about me ;-) So it's best not to judge others imo.
You spend so much of your time and energy posting a certain style of comments that is frankly impossible not to judge you.

I find it better to have a view on the cars than go about slagging off people, are you buying a new Lotus ?

Maybe it was a non-italian 2+2 world first hehe

That's an odd looking car.

Reminds me of a jumbo jet airbus. Big fat body with a drooped nose.

Like Lotus alot having owned 2 myself Lotus S4S Espirit, Exige S1, I do hope Lotus sell everyone of the 60 proposed GT430.
No bothered about the Toyota engine as long as it delivers the performance to match the chassis, let's not forget the new DB11 has a Mercedes derived engine, all future Astons will be powered this way.
Porsche GT3 are mega bits of kit , however you simply can't buy ( I have tried) unless you are a serial buyer of new Porches, you have no chance, with a few option boxes ticked the GT3 will be significantly more than the 112k Lotus are asking for the Evora.
If you look at the new BMW M4 CS closing in on 100k with a few options, the Evora doesn't seem that ridiculous.
Low volume specials do hold there price 340 r 18-24 months ago were 26k they are now double that.
Pick the right spec colour and u could have a unique one off very special car, mmmm now where's my nearest dealership 😁.

Well I'd have a GT430 in a heartbeat, fabulous looking thing.
