Typical sub prime customer, can't afford it in the first place, when it goes wrong, doesn't want to pay for it, wants numerous months 'free' motoring, wants her deposit back, SOGA, blah, blah,blah...and it's everyone else's fault but their own.
Why has she got stty credit rating in the first place?
Let me guess, dosn't pay her rent, can't afford electric bill, gas bill, council tax, probably has thousands coming in, in benefits, bet she has the latest i phone three million and seven though, as well as numerous tatoos she has paid hundreds for.
1700 quid car has a fault several months later.....Fix it.

Might be worth contacting the police if only to make them aware.
Aware of what? Finance being offered without FCA approval? This isn't anything to do with the police.

Having sold / offered finance....

I would say 30 per cent of sub prime is caused by divorce / separation - could just have easily split up not paid a water bill or been late with electric or partner not paid credit card for three months next its a credit default and you are knackered for six years.

Some sub prime people are just those whose businesses have failed and they have to start again; they might not actually owe anyone anything but the business failure destroys their credit profile.

It is quite sad really, dealing with some of them and the way many sub prime lenders operate is appalling.
I'm actually yet to see who you describe believe it or not!

Yes. Yes.

But apart from that, is there anything about her that you don't like, or don't approve of?

a few places around my way (durham) offer this sort of deal, shortfall finance, its basically loan sharking but on the other hand its no one else's fault that she can't go to the more trusted lenders, she couldn't have picked a worse car than an old mini, get her into a 500 quid micra which in all fairness she chould have bought for a little bit more, where are you located?

Nope not the case here I'm afraid she's just gone back to work of maternity leave her ex took loans and catalogues out in her name once they split. 3k in total only paying back a small amount a month.

Not everyone who has bad credit is on benefits
