It's all subjective anyway. People bhing about the Golf R are as bad since a lot of people reading this will have one (I used to) but I don't care!

It could have been a fast car round the ring 17 years ago anyway, that was before the manufacturers were obsessed with beating each others times, and so honing a car on a track was to do with making it better while not compromising road manners or only having front seats (in the case of the GTI Clubsport S). If you drive a car on the road like you would on a track then in my opinion that's more than a bit irresponsible.

It will be the same drivetrain etc as the RS5 I would imagine. And no idea when but I bet it won't be long.
