He could just as easily have put the name on a vacuum cleaner...

I think people are being too precious over what a TVR is.

In a world where few proper, modern V8 sportscars remain, I suspect his main competition will be seen as F-type and Corvette.
Whether intentional or not you've stumbled on an interesting point there. With the death of the Viper and the next Corvette moving to mid engine it seems Americans are crying out for a 'new cobra'. It will be interesting to see how much of the order book (if any) is for export. People said for years the Brits didn't want a V8 Mustang, they couldn't have been more wrong. Hopefully it will be the same for reborn TVR.

I hope it's not the one under the black cover. That's a big bh!!!
Hope those photos were taken before 6pm as I've not seen my car for about 2 weeks and it should have turned up there today!
Not sure what's under the black cover but it looks like it's on an elevated stand.Hope those photos were taken before 6pm as I've not seen my car for about 2 weeks and it should have turned up there today!

Maybe they decided to go with an SUV.One of the most common car combos on PH for years has been TVR + Land/Range Rover. Makes absolute sense to combine the two. Who doesn't want to tow a horse over a field at 150mph or have space to kick back and relax while waiting for the AA. : D
Name wise I'm going to agree with others here, I reckon it'll be called the Griffith.
Power / Weight wise I'd guess 500hp, seems like a nice round target for them to go for and something the Coyote engine will do easily with some tweaks. Weight wise I reckon about 1300kg maybe a little bit less. Looking forward to seeing it!

Apparently the engine in a mule. Sounds unapologetic.

Not very live so far...Feed seems to be mute. I'm worried the sound will kick-in at volume 11 as soon as I take a phone call.
