Just appeared locally at £350.

Test till end of Jan and will go over the bridge at £150.

Seems a bit of a steal and didnt need a lot on the last Mot.

Tempting
Having bought mine at the same price, £350, a year ago. In a similar colour also. I'd fully recommend it. Mines currently in Germany and wafts along autobahns with ease.
Now why did I spend £1100 on a phase 2 D5 with all of its complicated common rail-ness and whatever else, when I could have had one of these?

£750 buys a lot of fuel!

Why does a home mechanic need a snap on tool draw set?

Halfords should do you fine -
Why not?

They really won't.

You can live on Pot Noodles.

But it's hardly living.

I'm more of a Beta chap, but you can't knock Snap On.

Halfords and a snap-on badge are good for anyone.

Just realised that 4 of my last 5 cars have been estates, so heres a few snaps.

Starting with a Nissan Stagea RX Four in New Zealand. Was a Jap import, nice car but shame the satnav and all the menu's on the pop-up TV screen were in Japanese. Also, made the mistake of getting a 2.5 non turbo one which was awfully slow.

Next up was a Saab 93 which was bought pretty much for free with the profit I made from selling an X-Type. Cost around £600 from memory. Had a noisy wheel bearing which I tried to sort myself but ended up having to cut the driveshaft off to get the bleedin' thing out as it was that seized in place.

Drove it over to Germany, did fine, even did a lap of the 'ring. Turbo blew about 2 weeks later in Munich city centre. Advertised it online for I think 200 Euros and had a phonecall within 5minutes from a guy in Czech Republic who then drove through the night to pick it up.

Replaced it with a 2004 D5 manual V70. Great, great car, couldn't be faulted at all. Again, drove it all across Europe without issues. Sad to have sold it.

And that finally leads me up to the current V70. 2.4 Petrol manual. £350 with 11months MOT and not an issue to mention.

I've had loads over the past 30 years as I've always had dogs. Mostly German (the cars, not the dogs).

My boring slow reliable spacious Mazda6. Bikes, furniture, camping, kid stuff, 5-up road trips, no worries!
When it gets replaced the sensible option will be a mk3 Mazda6 wagon. They're one of the most popular large cars in NZ for a reason.
But a 335i or Legacy GT would be very tempting!

a very Audi weekend - pulled this S2 front bumper out've the barn, was covered in webs, spider poo(little white spots?!) - a couple of wet wipes, a bit of maguires car shampoo / a buff up and back to black on the plastics and jobs was a gud'um!! Fitted easily into the B8(208bhp version) and up to a mate who's doing full restore on an '89 2.3 coupe.

After nearly 6 years with an XKR as my only family transport I have got this to run alongside. Had it less than a week but think it’s going to be a great 2 car combination

Cheers. They seem to be worth a fair bit, alone. This is good when the car wasn't expensive.

I’m a big fan of estates for their versatility. Had a number of Alfa 156, Audi A6 and F31 3 series.
The most useful however have been the V70’s. The square shape means you can cram so much more space in.
Here’s the V70 earlier this year on our way back from a tour of various brocantes in France.

Elected to go in the V70 rather than our 3 series as it carries so much more tat.
3 series for posterity on our holiday last year
