RE: Subaru Legacy 3.0 Sport: PH Carpool
Discussion
M3 vs a Legacy?! from someone who has not owned a Subaru from his garage!
There are circa 25 M3s M4s etc in my works car park ( plus numerous 320ds ,118ds etc with M badges on, I don't understand all that), and 1 Legacy (my twin scroll), go with the masses or be unique?
Not disputing that the M cars are good cars, there were a site to behold, now 2 a penny.
Pre March 2006 registered 3.0r circa £300 RFL, JDM import £245.
Spec B Legacy costs over £500 a year for RFL - so why not buy an M3?!
IMHO I'd just SORN a Legacy as uneconomic!

People who drive SpecB Legacies are a rare breed.
My tax is north of £500 a year, fuel is a bit sucky also but who cares? Its not like I am begging on the streets to get by on a daily basis.!
There isn't a sweet spot - they are all wallet-drainers! Ved said:
What MPG and tax is the sweet spot for the majority now?
its been like that for years sadly, people have slowly lost the will to drive. People who drive SpecB Legacies are a rare breed.
