I'm in an insurance loan car at the moment whilst my Skoda Superb is in for repair. I didn't have like-for-like on my policy so they've got me in a Fiesta. The hire car company said it would have been worse than that if I hadn't insisted on having an auto (I convinced the insurance company that after three years of driving an auto I'd likely be straight in a ditch after bouncing off three other cars if they forced a manual on me).

The Fiesta is not too bad actually with its 1.4 petrol engine. Rear legroom is a bit dodgy though.
