The very boring, unremarkable child at that.

Great looking car. Ferrari on a roll with their styling.
Not sure if serious...

The current crop aren't beautiful in my eyes - certainly not compared to what came before.
Technically they are good but personally I think they are at an all time low point in terms of design aesthetics.

Current line up vs oldies (not entirely fair to compare but I'll do it anyway)

VS:

The old cars look old. I've never really been a fan of old Ferrari's (or Jag E-Types, Aston DB6s etc) of the 50s, 60s and 70s to be honest. I also hate wire wheels with a passion!

Much prefer the looks of the 488 over a 360 for example. I also love the fact the bodies of the new cars more accurately reflect what the air-flow is doing; you can actually 'see' how it would move over them.

And if you're not sure if I'm serious, allow me to reassure that I really am.

I need someone to help me out here. I understand how we all have different tastes but you wake up early on a Sunday morning, dress quietly, a quick cup of coffee, and then out to the garage. The door opens to reveal this inside. You slide in, drop the roof, and then press the start button on the wheel. A Ferrari V8 fires up and you ease forward out onto the street. You choose your route, let it warm and then build the revs until it's screaming the noise only a Ferrari will emit as you carve down empty country roads. Boring..?

C'mon. You may not like the Ferrari brand but I challenge you to experience this car as above and then call it boring.

Very nice. Looks a bit like a NSX at the front and Zagato from the back. Much improved from the Cali

All Ferraris look the same now. Very corporate

I'd probably spend half and buy a Corvette Z06 with more power and a fraction of the servicing costs although I realise that flies in the face of Ferrari's "money no object" trademark sales.

When you get back from this drive and park it, will you look back at it as you walk away?

Am I being thick? if the engine is in front and its RWD, how the hell is the weight 54% at the rear of the car unladen?

Been doing this since the 612. Engine behind front axle, transaxle gearbox. Sorted.

We are not talking about the purchase of this car in isolation. The buyer would be choosing between this and other new and used cars.

As such I wouldn't have the opportunity of looking back, as I wouldn't have chosen to own it. When getting a supercar, one can choose something beautifully stylish or they can choose something wildly aggressive looking. This is neither.

Overall shape yeah.. but so it should. Details are a lot different. This car is far better looking than the old Kefalonia.

Nope. You were talking specifically about this car after the drive I described.

Quite like the look of that, not TOO fussy with the design details like the recent models. Looks a lot more special than the old california.

Roof up, it reminds me of the 456. Which is no bad thing in my mind.

Ok then. My answer is a no I wouldn't look back.

Ferrari red is a lovely colour, and the badge is the badge. But take those away and the exterior is not exciting enough for me personally.

Each to their own, Im sure many will buy and love the looks.
