Skoda is the new Saab, driven by the discerning dentist. I do miss Saabs.

Or an often overlooked example is the VXR Insignia they're around the same price point but hard to find.
I test drove the Superb and the Insignia estates.......... In my opinion the Superb is by far the better car in every respect.

We bought the 2.0 diesel 4x4 estate, which now has c25k on the clock, it may not be as sporty as the featured car on here but we have absolutely no doubts we made the right decision......MrsA loves driving it even though it's very a big car.

The Superb 280 isn't the fastest car I've ever driven, but so far it's the only one where someone's followed me into a car park just to ask 'What engine's in that? You utterly fking destroyed me away from that roundabout on the bypass'. The comment came from someone who was driving a MK2 Focus ST.

I love the element of surprise. Nobody suspects that it's anywhere near as quick as it is.
so the skoda must have been driven like the owners house was on fire....... racing an ST?

the image doesnt really fit does it. its also destroys the myth of people wanting to buy these nippy cars to stay under the radar.

That's right, a single example completely destroys the 'myth'

I followed the Skoda for a few miles on the M40 yesterday in my ancient Legacy. it is a good looking fast 4x4 estate although I am not sure if that is because of the PH stickers!
