From there, they'll tweak and refine a few things in terms of ensuring the production process is as efficient as possible, with built in quality at each stage.

Is that the modern version of making it up as you go along?
Are you deliberately being obtuse?

Unless you'd also suggest VAG, Renault Nissan, Mercedes, Ford, General Motors, Honda, and every other major motor manufacturer (as well as pretty much every decent manufacturer full stop) are 'making it up as you go along'?

Or would you rather they just 'fired up the production line' and let customers deal with the inevitable problems that arise from turning a virtual design and planned process into a physical one? That's what killed the last iteration of the brand...

Logic would suggest, given how time works, that they are, yes.
Logic and ugly small-volume British sports cars rarely go together in terms of how the business performs...
The key is just to avoid bitter little old bar props as the customer demographic.

Somehow I can't see anyone but TVR diehard pub bores buying such a catastrophically hideous car anyway.

Somehow, I doubt TVR, or any modern sports car manufacturer would be over concerned about you or your opinions. Why do you post at all?

Oh boy. So the Griff is not even up against today's brilliant Caymans and Exiges but 2020/21 models... hmm... sadly that doesn't fill me with much hope.

I really like what’s under the skin but the look hasn’t grabbed me. I’ll enjoy seeing them about but it hasn’t moved me to put one in the garage.

The P6, in its time, was a class-leading car, and still looks good IMO.

The new Griffith does not look good, and is going to be horribly outclassed by the AM Vantage and the next-gen 911...

More drivel. Tell you what, don’t buy one, and let us know how the Aston or 911 you are going for instead compares?

^This.

I really hope they do well but, as the car first broke cover, I blew a similar amount of cash on 'something else' with 4 wheels. As much as I love TVR and want the name to be resurrected, it's not a car that grabs my heart strings in the way a Sagaris does.

I'm afraid the only drivel is from the TVR fanboys who are deluded into thinking this will compete with the big boys...
Keep your drivel to yourself please.

I saw one of the new Aston Martin's today out on the road, I wasn't sure if it was the new Vantage or DB11, it might have been the colour as it was yellow...but I thought it was ugly!

Maybe it's because of current rules and regulations, and manufacturers are very restricted with the designs. I never thought I'd see the day when I would call an Aston ugly, I felt quite sad about it.

So it seems that TVR have had the same problem, and if Aston Martin can't make an eye catching/attractive car anymore...what hope does any manufacturer have?

I actually saw a convertible DB11 today and thought it was absolutely gorgeous. However, that tired old troll above wouldn’t know a decent drive from a hole in the wall.

I think I do need to see one up close and personal(if it was the DB11), I only caught a quick glance of it going the other way. It looked hideous to me but I don't think the colour helped.

I had a quick look on Aston Martin's website and I still couldn't decide if it was the Vantage or DB11.
