Did they purposely set out to release awful, awful pictures of it?

"Right Lads, we need to knock their socks off - get a red one, surround it with lots and lots of artificial light so all the panels are awash with reflections, you know, the ones that make it almost impossible to actually see the shape of it and none of the details yeah - then trim out the background and replace it with a sort or grey nothingness - yeah, top job"

That is one dreadful looking thing, inside and out. What a shame.

Well that's disappointing, doesn't look very nice at all to my eyes. And at £90k, it's not going to do what TVR used to do by offering more performance for less money than it's 'rivals'. Shame.

I quite like that.

Am I the only one seeing a lot of ND MX-5 in the front end? (Not a bad thing, just the very first thought that popped into my head.)
Except the MD Mx5's front end looks better... Also a bit of McLaren and Merc Sls in there too imo

uncertain after seeing those photos - from behind looks a bit like an electric car
from the front it looks like a cartoon car from the 'cars' cartoon series of films...
Interior looks okay, but TVRs have always been a bit more 'wrap around snug' cockpits, whereas this looks almost too spacious...
will be good to see it in a more live setting

It should always be in sport and have a comfort button, its a TVR!!
Isn't that an emissions and therefor a saving you money thing?

Looks suspiciously like a Ford keyless logo on the steering column. Ford engine, so possibly a Ford EPAS system?
I wouldn't be surprised if they've lifted the entire rack, EPAS and all, from something like the Mustang. not necessarily a bad thing if they do their own calibration.

Well oh dear. 5 pages of overwhelming disappointment.

Personally I'll wait until I see one in the flesh. And with different wheels.

New Cosworth V8, iStream and bold styling with no smell of fibre glass in sight. It will even be reliable.

Imagine what the race car will look like.

Love it.

Wont it? What conventional £90k rivals can get close to its power to weight ratio?

The 911 C2S is heavier and less powerful. The Evora GT430 Sport is similar weight but less powerful and more expensive. The GTR is a bit more powerful but much heavier. The R8 is much more expensive.

400bhp/tonne for £90k is cheap.

Not as much of a looker as the concept made out (as always) but think would still look good out on the roads, and just to see a new TVR!

Also the number plate is delightful! laugh

Initial reaction somewhat underwhelmed. The rear wing is ridiculous, surely something more 'designed in' could be achieved. The overall styling has the right proportions but the details aren't quite there. Dropping headlights? Surely that went out with the Ford Scorpio.
Inside the interior looks like a bit of a miss: TVRs should feel premium and wild at the same time. This looks, well boxy and hard edged.
I've no doubt the performance and handling will be there. But without better styling and interior it won't be a 'have to have one even if it kills me' car...

Like the exterior, interior switch gear looks rubbish, those air vents look like they've been taken off a Nissan Qashqai.

I suspect it'll look better in the flesh as it were because those photos are crap.

Guys it is a Griffith and those were always conservatively styled compared to the rest of their lineup. Seems like everyone on here wanted a Sagaris.

Interior looks a bit ropey. In my old Tuscan if you looked around everything was either leather or milled aluminium and very pleasing to the eye. The column surround and vents are plastic and nasty looking for a 90k car?

This is a fair point. The Griffith was always (at least by TVR standards) a plain looking car. It was not, however, ugly.

That maybe true but there was only one chance to relaunch TVR and if the styling of their first product needs explaining then the designer did a bad job.
