Citroen C6. Quirky, luxurious and barge ride quality. What's not to like.

The 06 Honda CRV is the car that we bought to use as the family car with the idea I wouldn't get worked up if it was dented/scratched as all everyday cars get in use.

Didn't quite work that way. The thing has been so useful. Anything we wanted to move fits in it.
The dashboard is a strange design with a very strange design of handbrake that took some getting used to but the lack of switches and buttons is quite refreshing in a car these days. Plus on cold mornings the heated seats and superb heater cant be beaten.
The 4wd system that according to the internet is poor & the car will get stuck on anything more than a flat bit of damp grass but. . . . .
in our experience the dual pump 4wd is another thing that just gets on with its job with no fuss and surprising in how well it worked especially after reading the comments on the net.

I had, and loved, a 530d GT. Hugely underrated car, and perfect when you have kids and/or sport equipment the lug about.
Is it really underrated or just disliked for its bulky looks and general lack of style?

I would imagine (as a non-owner) that it performs exactly like a 5 series saloon, which seem to be generally well-regarded.

It does tick the "unpopular" box though smile
Having owned an F10 5 Series and been driven around in a GT a number of times the GT is the nicer place to spend time and very practical. Extra room everywhere and a bit more plush.

Not a looker though.
I know a chap who had a 5GT and he'd modded it a bit, it actually ended up looking pretty decent.
No pics though, sorry.
