That really is a mystical one. I really think it depends on which way the wind is blowing at the time you call the broker. One day being in a secure underground car park is amazing and the next everyone is going to die. Another week having doors on your garage is essential and then another being an open barn is the greatest idea ever.

I can get my head around dodgy postcodes, getting milked for your address and all the stuff about stats for likelihood of a model crashing and average costs of repair but I'll be biggered if there is any sense to the whole overnight parking bks.

When I asked at a recent renewal I was told its more expensive in the garage than on the drive because if there is a fire you wont get the car...my reply was 'bloody well watch me !!' laughlaugh
Garages are usually more expensive because of the risk of damage. Driveway, maybe damage too. Never had issues with quotes for 'on a street nearby'. You cannot buck the actuaries!
