VIP and Royal convoy seem to break the speed limits and stop other traffic very unfairly

Have you seen the Special Escort Group at work? They try and keep the VIP car below the limit at all times, and keep disruption to the general public at a minimum. When I first saw it I was surprised how sedate it all was. It's only the motorcycle escorts that need to break the limit to get to the next junction so the VIP car can have a clear run through. Too true, a driver at a company I used to work with got prosecuted for 126 mph in a Sprinter, M6 Toll IIRC.
