End of PCP repairs - more issues!

Hi,
I've had some repairs done before a return of the vehicle.
The BCA have highlighted unsatisfactory repairs on the report i had done (Not approved audi).
So...
The BCA gave me this from Audi after they told me the costs to repair the unacceptable repairs.
In this letter it states;
-It must be approved (Fair wear and tear guide does not state it needs to be Audi approved for repairs)
-They assume if i do not hear about the repairs then this indicates I accept the costs!
-I need to inform them to arrange another inspection if I get the repairs done.
This is just a very very crude approach to milking money out of me here.
My intention was to get the repairs done then tell them i'd repaired them and challenge when I get the invoice.
Anyone had this situation before here?

Had an issue with repairs on the mrs. car when it was inspected. She's reversed into our garage and scraped the rear bumper, local outfit fixed it. Was absolutely perfect in every light, but the inspector went around all bumpers with a paint depth gauge and noticed it was off on the repair. When he asked me out to look at it, he himself said "The repair is perfect to the eye, but the depth of the paint tells me a repair has been carried out."
I denied all knowledge of it and asked him for proof that the supplying dealer had carried out no repairs due to damage in transit or on their forecourt. He selected "customer disputes charges" on a little PDA thing and never heard anything more.

Cock of the day award goes to......Put it this way - if you loaned someone your car, they crashed it and had it fixed without telling you, then you noticed it had been done and you had had no say in the repair, would you be pissed?
What's covert about a paint repair if it looks (and therefore is) repaired?
I had a Porsche aerokit sprayed by an "Porsche approved repairer" and the job was quite frankly shocking, and had to go back twice.
A local indie who actually cares about their reputation and has pride in their work is probably likely to be right first time than a place that has a "get the next car in" mentality, or - more fairly - has so much volume to deal with that this is the only way they can operate.

Yeh, I think I could had said that, if the shoe was on the other foot and you had noticed this was done on the forecourt then i know what Audi would had said. Paperwork to say inspection will happen says any repair work needs to be against BVRLA guidelines that then states "To a professional standard".
I think this is now the "shark" period of the process....I've had the work rectified but VWFS now want to enforce a T&C on me now to milk money out of me.
I have looked at the Finance agreement and see no reference to repairs required to be Audi Approved.
Only issue I have is it states I need to tell them so they can reinspect it. So what do I do, i've got a date booked for collection!
I had this with servicing, VWFS said it "should" be serviced if a warning light is on, BVRLA guidelines say warning lights are acceptable. BCA inspected and i had no reported costs for servicing.
Do i just wait until Audi Invoice then go into battle on this?

I don't know how on earth they could charge you on the basis of simply that the car has been repaired - that would be ridiculous.Maybe personal leases are different but when I had a leased company car these end of lease charges used to be referred to as dilapidation charges. They don't fix the cars, they send them to auction as they are and the amount is supposed to reflect how much less they'll fetch at auction. I've seen recent posts where people have said the charges for things like wheel damage are less than a refurb cost.
We used to pay a few hundred quid for every car that went back. I objected to it, but our Finance regarded it as part of the deal so paid without question.
If you get repairs done then make sure the repairer will guarantee that the car will pass the lease company's repair standards. There used to be a bit on industry around this, but I haven't seen anything of it for a while.
As a former BCA driver, I've had some experience of this when been at cars with an inspector
You can dispute any of the charges but if you've signed the paperwork/ipad without that being highlighted then VWFS will be asking for money, if you've had the job done professionally then as long as you dispute it when the car is being inspected, then nothing usually will come of it

OP go through the t&c wording with a fine tooth comb. Thank fk the bca inspected my car on a torrential downpour day.

Just phoned VWFS before lunch (maybe better because the sharks are hungry and want to eat at 12 lol).
They first said, please ring BCA and they will put it on the notes/report.
I ring BCA, they say, its inspected and I need to phone VWFS!
I phone VWFS back...Yes we will add this to the report and at the collection tomorrow it "may" be taken off as unsatisfactory work, and if i don't hear anything within about 2 weeks its fine.
Based on current situation with what i've read what I was told don't sound entirely convincing to me, however tis all voice recorded and tis all logged so I'll be certainly taking it further if I get billed in two weeks for this work.
PS I PCP a car because I want to drive around in a bling mobile no fcker could afford on a sainsbury loan...there I said it.
