Anyone watch it? Good win for Craig Evans but sure Kerr would have taken it had he not tried to knock that tree down.

It's an utterly batst course to have a race down. I watch the DH World Cups and figure I could get down the majority of them, but this? No way - every feature on there is fking insane.

Hats off to any of the lads who attempt it. bow

I enjoyed watching it. Glad to see Dan Atherton making it on to the podium. Even the non jump parts of the course looked nuts.

I'd struggle to walk down parts of that course nevermind ride it! So much respect for those guys, it's an outrageous mix of skill and balls to do the Red Bull courses like this.

Did love the commentry as Kerr hit the tree, 'He's crashed! Poor tree!' hehe

It's just so mental! Shame the weather meant they started lower down the hill this year. I find that quite frustrating, a bit like Rampage, why hold an event when there is a good chance of the weather causing an issue. Doesn't really matter with World Cup as it's a league rather than a one off event.

I think with Hardline due to the number of WC DH riders competing they have to do it out of season to get folks there. Not least because the risk of injury is so high that the teams would veto their riders competing in season. If you look at the amount of people getting badly hurt in either practise, qualifying or race day the attrition rate is massively more than a WC weekend.
Danny Hart won the first Hardline - this year he was in Whistler because "the risk of injury is so high at Hardline"

Rampage - I don't understand doing in October, there are a handful of WC riders at most competing and not having them there wouldn't be a huge loss. It's super frustrating to see event day getting postponed or cut short because it's too windy in Utah in October.

Yeah that's a good point, it is pretty much DH racers at Hardline. I can see their respective teams being pretty off about it.

Rampage is frustrating every year, due to the wind. I don't know if in that setting wind is an issue all year round, or Redbull just want it as an end of season spectacular.
