It'll be quite tricky in the future to buy a used example as the specs will vary so much.

I can see in the not too distant these for £75,000 and others, same age and mileage for £175,000.

Price will vary massively.
WBAC are offering 99k for the one in the review.

That steering wheel looks suspiciously like the one in my B9 A4.

Nice enough for a repmobile. Not so sure about a 'luxury' product.

Is it just me or does that interior already look quite dated, maybe the the colour choices?
Looks great to me. And I've driven one.

I can assure you the materials you put your hands on when holding it will not be the same.

The wheel in my old 7 series was the same as BMW fitted to the Rolls Royce Phantom, but the leather and controls were markedly different. Why redesign the shape of something that's perfectly good already? If the shape is fine, then just up the quality of the leather etc etc. Don't see the harm in that?

So the diesel 4x4 gets a better review than the new, naturally aspirated, V12 Lamborghini. Curious times at the Circle PH.

Trust me, I dislike this car as much as the next man....but I think the reviews aren't bad....they're comparing apples with apples.

They're saying the Lambo isn't a good supercar compared to its rivals, and what is expected of a car of that price point in the niche it's occupying. The same for the Bentley.

You wouldn't say "This caterham is a crap car on the motorway, a Mercedes S class is so much better", or, conversely, you also wouldn't say "This Mercedes S class is a fat wallowy old thing around this track, a much cheaper Caterham is much better!"

Horses for courses, my friend.

If TVR get a hard time for their 'easy to change from LHD to RHD dashboard' in the new Griffith, Bentley's team need a little dig in the ribs too.

It still looks like the fugly love child of a London taxi and a Porsche Cayenne, hate it and even if I could afford it would rather put out my eyes with a sharp pencil than buy such a monstrosity!

Very ugly car. And £220 for a key? WTF! And £105 for a box of plasters and a plastic triangle! Makes McLaren's fee of £60 for a plastic triangle look like a bargain.

Immense car, massively capable with a lovely dollop of get out of my way.

Not really - people buy these things because they are expensive - got to have some way to show the proles how affluent you are. wink

(If they were 'reasonably' priced they wouldn't be as attractive to the clientele that do buy them.)
Bentley Veblen.

A manufacturer should actually come out with that. it'll sell more. An ironic statement for the Rooneys.

I am rarely moved to comment but I must say , having seen one of these in the flesh only recently , it is in my opinion a stupendously ugly car. I don't mind the excess and the luxury. I don't mind the image. I just object to the styling.

God it's an ugly thing.

A class below I know - but the Maserati is a much better looker.
This ^^^^^^^. Saw one close up at the weekend for the first time. What a bloody mess.

I'm not against diesel SUVs, I drive one, and I'm usually pretty positive about most new cars but that is absolutely fking horrible, an utter montrosity and a Bentley badge should be nowhere near it.

VAG have spent some R&D cash on their latest gen of steering wheels - the small centre bosses/ airbag units are very nice. Makes other options look awfully bulky.
