He did say that he had the warranty anyway so wasn't really alarmed even if it manifested itself. The car ran great in pretty testing conditions and he wasn't hanging about. Funny how some people worry about other people's cars that don't have issues. No idea why.

It does indeed seem very odd.

If mine develops any issues I will (as per any new car I have bought) take it to the dealer for repair. No big deal for me.

As I said, mechanical issues weren't the reasons why I rejected the car.

I don't worry about the issues now either. smile
