Best smoker barges 1-5 large [Vol 12]
Discussion
Went to view a prospective barge today. A 2001 Mercedes e240. All was going great, loved how it drove, made from granite feel etc then near the end of the test drive the throttle pedal stopped working sort of. I could floor it but the engine was not getting the signal from my right foot.
I know this is the best place to ask about such matters so wondered what the beards thoughts are.
When we stopped the car and turned it off and on the pedal came back to life again! My gut tells me it is something like a throttle actuator as it seems electrical rather than mechanical but don’t want jump into buying a car without abit of possible causes.
Did this model/age of car have biodegradable looms?

Picked car up and was following various diversions on the A14 and ended up on vapours. Luckily found some unattended, poorly lit forecourt but no good for photos. Have been busy with the gummi pflege and leather cleaner today though and hope my gravel is a suitable alternative backdrop:
I have been very impressed with it so far. Everything seems to be working okay. It came with 4 nearly new Continental tyres and some pretty snazzy 18" OZ alloys that I am just cleaning up and are probably worth about half what I paid for the car!

I love it but in my decade old frame of reference I can't help feeling that's worth half the price.zizgag69 said:

Yes, that's the one. Thanks to W00DY for posting it as I wasn't looking at GS300s before but that one jumped out as a reasonable replacement to the mini-barge 2.4 auto Accord we were previously using, which we have just taken to 200k+ and was feeling pretty tired.Love the Oxford green M5, especially with the tan leather. I looked at loads a few years ago but none were that combination. I ended up with a very nice Le Mans blue with blue/black leather/ostrich but would have preferred some of the more unusual combinations.

Oof indeed.
I love Oxford, it'd be second only to Imola (I think) as a BMW colour.
Imola is equal to Estoril, but Oxford on an E38 or E39 is mega. I love Oxford, it'd be second only to Imola (I think) as a BMW colour.
I think I'd have an Imola E30, Estoril E39 and Oxford E38. I once saw a purple E65, I presume an individual spec, but that was gorgeous.
Love the GS, good to see another thread purchase.

E46 may have been the first 3 series with it.

Well in! Cracking colour, glad it's as good as it looked. Bit of a steal, especially with the bonus wheels - anything needing done?Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
