2001 Lexus gs430, very rare car. Was talking to him this week, seems like a very good example with one owner and serviced by Lexus every 12 months right thru till last year. Again...very rare..

Someone needs to buy then start a thread.

Unfortunately if it's not been already reported on either https://www.fixmystreet.com/ or https://www.potholes.co.uk/ you're out of luck.

So check there and hope someone else got there first so that you can claim.
So what you're saying is... ring up as 'Mr Smith', report the pothole.

2 days later, ring up as yourself, and report the pothole.... scratchchin

I definitely don't condone, advocate or advise you to do this, however. That would be illegal? Unlawful? I dunno. Doesn't seem 'right' though... and you open yourself up for cop then judge

But you'd need to get caught first.. and knowing how government agencies work, that's pretty unlikely... hehe
It would probably be worth posting the exact location of the mine, including which council area it’s in, just so everybody else can avoid it like.

Quick pick of the E39 now my plate is on. Still really happy to be back in another 5 years to the month after selling our 540i (pic below). They are almost identical from the rear!

Lovely indeed, I know we're not huge fans of the E60 in this thread, but this looks quite nice:

£50 under thread max before a haggle.

Clean MOT history on that E60, although it expires next month. Did all of its miles in the first three years of its life too, only done a couple of thousand a year recently.

I like that a lot, seems very cheap too. Would you always wish you'd got a 550i though, and get 25% more power for the same RFL and fuel consumption?

The cheapest 550i on AT is currently +50% over that one.

Quite a few 545i's on for less, but is a 10% power boost worth passing up a nice spec? Comfort seats etc would be of more interest to me.

Isn't that why this one is cheaper? L322 RR with the 3.6TDI is much cheaper then the more desirable 4.4TDI, the 4.4TDI has lower running costs and is quicker. But try to get one any where near the price of a 3.6TDI

I swear Mr Metcalfe said the 3.6 was better on his review the other day!

He did. Said it felt faster because the turbo's weren't sequential, whether it's faster in reality I'd have to Google.

3.6l TDI is 0-60 in 8.6 seconds

4.4l TDI is 0-60 in 7.5 seconds.

Top speed is slightly higher at 6mph in the 4.4. Couldn’t find mpg figures for the 4.4 though.

4.4 should be 30 combined. Obviously not easy to get in the real world.

Lovely, funny how some can look down at heel and very old, yet with the right spec, colour and wheels look fresher than the mode that replaced it.

What I love most is that it’s a V8 with a single exhaust pipe ... no unnecessary shouting. In these days of four cylinder cars with four exhaust pipes that a refreshing change.

ETA ... Just realised I’ve owned quite a few three cylinder motorcycles with four exhaust pipes rolleyes

I always wanted my V8 to have one either side! Was tempted to get one added, same tip. I've always found the E39 sport 'curly' exhaust tip weird but its a quirk I guess.

Also, they are two different cars if I wasn't clear wink

What is the sound quality like from the speakers on an E60? I had an E91 in SE spec and it was disgustingly bad.
