That makes it very interesting but I do wish traders would make the effort to properly describe their cars.

Colour combo is a bit dull but I think the wood inserts used in the W211 always lifts the interior.

The centre dash speaker and rear lights give it away. However in this case it has the post facelift speaker cover and pre facelift rear lights. Being as the speaker takes seconds to change, I'll go with pre facelift

MOT history is fine and well, just how bad can the rust be? It’s a £4k v8. If I needed a car this weekend, this would be on the shortlist I think.

Ah, but the EPC suggests that while the centre speaker cover changed for the 05 model year, the rear lights on Avantgarde spec vehicles did not change until the 07 model year.

PS: great news on Ian's 300D.

PPS: this has a very full spec but I'd be a bit concerned about the white smoke and the o/s/f spring:

Yes, great specification. I wonder what the white smoke could be? Perhaps the injectors are past their best and leaking fuel when stood for a while. The interior looks very good for the age and mileage.

The spring wouldn't bother me nor the smoke to be honest it sounds like condensation and at that price with leather and full mot total bargain

I used to be a big fan of his videos when they were around 10 mins long, but at 25+ minutes his more recent videos just feel slow and drawn out. I think I read that youtube offer increased ad revenues for longer videos so it probably has something to do with that.
