If pricing/timing is more reasonable, & if you can get to Manchester, I’ll happily get you the last leg over t’hill and into god’s county. Alec.e & I might be meeting up tomorrow for a 6-series mini-meet, and I’m meant to be wfh on Monday, but I’ve already done 6 hrs yesterday & 3 this morning (which is why I had the time to compile some figures), so work owe me some time back anyway (and I can flex the rest regardless). Just let me know...
That's jolly decent of you, thanks. I'm hoping we can get a prompt alternative delivery from another firm but if that fails I'll travel on Monday. To be frank, once I'm on the train it's direct to Leeds so there's probably no real advantage in enlisting your assistance. Offer much appreciated though.

I was in agreement but thinking “it must have been expensive”. Then I realised the price is still on the ad. Disgusting.
It was published as TBA when I posted it, otherwise I wouldn't have done so. I actually paid less than that.
That’s an incredible amount of car for the money! I look forward to seeing it and comparing to the 400.

I missed the price on first read. Seems pretty reasonable for both seller and car.

I could probably pick you up from Leeds station if you need a lift.

I am very much struggling to not explore the idea of buying back my old jag from the new owner. I know that once I start to explore the possibility it will be a right rabbit hole I cannot escape from :0

Thanks BlueMR2 - very kind. It's still TBC but I'm hoping to meet the dealer and car at the station and just jump straight in.

No problem, that's probably the easiest way.

Not sure how often trains will run on the bank holiday, worth checking in advance.

I should say you'd be in a Renault Trafic as i don't have a car at the moment. Would be interesting to see some of his cars, seems like a good price too.

Working CLK 430 with nearly a years MOT for £500

V8 for 1/10 of the budget. Doesn’t look too bad bar the roof which can just stay up.

This is a huge bargain surely? MOT history isn't brilliant but not awful.

If I had the spare cash to insure it I'd be straight on this.

A lovely looking thing. Much better on the 15 holes in my opinion.

It's cheap! They all need paint sooner or later as well.

But I guess if I was embarking on a restoration i'd rather start with an early car - they look better and the engine is significantly stronger.

Sold to another denizen of this parish. I’ll let him reveal himself.

Oops, he already has.

I’ve just edited the ad to take most of the details out & tell viewers it’s sold
