Lovely looking things and getting very rare, really needs a V6 or turbo though. That engine is extremely unrefined, but you can tolerate it in the Vitesse because of the unexpected turn of speed.

I like that too. Funny about values though isn't it; I paid less than that for it's modern equivalent.

How do these drive? I love my 300e. The lexus is so dull that I actively avoid proper driving roads.

It drove nicely but it’s the first I’ve driven so I can’t add much. He has barely used it in the past year so I think it needs buying and using but it certainly wants 4 tyres, full exhaust (not leaking audibly but very old and loose) g/box fluid & filter as well as tune up of idle valve or similar as it took 4 goes to start it. Seemed a very genuine car. Cared for by not looked after if that makes sense. I don’t think I’d pay 3.5 for it. It got to 2.1 on eBay but didn’t meet reserve which I actually think is about right for it. I still want one - or an LS.

I tihnk we've had that SEL before. Someone gave up with the headlamp wipers and blanked them off it would seem
