Inspired by this thread and the MOT of my insight running out but awaiting a screen to fix the cracked I saw a local one reduce in price so looked at it on Saturday and collected last night.

Scratching an itch on trying one and so far so good, plenty more grunt and a better place to be just at the expense of MPG over the insight however I can atleast get the kids in this one.

I’ll see what I do with insight once MOT’d. 272k miles and it’s the exact one Hammond drove in a Men & Motors Review.

Brilliantly off the wall 'I own a 272k mile Honda Insight' post

New car looks absolutely fantastic and reminded me why I test drove one in the first place

Looked fast, wasn't fast. Not sure why anyone would buy a 2 seater with such lame performance.
This. They're not actually that good to drive either. They should have done it properly. Scrapped the hybrid and put the K20a in it.

This was my first car:

I really wanted to like the CR-Z but I just couldn't, so kept my S2000...

It's a double edged sword for the seller. On one hand, the piece is advertising the car for the seller. On the second hand Pistonheads have rejected his advert nono

What a first car, did well to stay on the road until 2011

Should have been longer than that, too. The tt who bought it fitted stupid big wheels and crashed it.

Then again, it did get vtecced a lot when I was 24-30!

Wasn't the idea to make it more as an update to the Insight? Always makes me think of the film "Be Cool", the follow up to "Get Shorty".

I quite like them...

Have always loved these and remember seeing a CRZ with a rare optional interior 'Tron' light kit which really amazed me at the time. Can't even find an example photo online.

I’d love one of these with a K20, and added lightness smile

Bingo!

At the time it looked very impressive in person. Not so much nowadays with a lot of cars having ambient lighting.

I have one for these, the sport model.

Not sure what the talk about them being slow is, as it accelerates really well in sport mode. Really smooth and quiet to drive.

Granted the back seat is impossible to sit in but it’s useful to have in case needed.

Only £20 a year to tax which is always a bonus and the most fuel efficient car I’ve owned.
