LOL. Reckless Porsche Driver in Video has 911 for sale on PH

Looks like speeding, tailgating, erratic braking, and dangerous overtaking during inadequate gap on a slight bend.
Judging by the aggressive driving and self-important advert for what is basically an old banger, it's a fair bet the dude posts on here and is a powerful online director-type

Of course overtaking is allowed but try not to be aggressive, impatient and petulant whilst doing it, especially whilst driving something Dalil Mail readers will love to rant about, the swerve at the car that had the temerity to flash him was the bit that takes this from press on and a bit thrusty to tttish.
I think a lot of drivers panic if something is coming towards them on there side, they cant comprehend that it can be a safe move in a properly quick car as they are only used to a run of the mill hatch or whatever, also, to be fair they dont know its not the lunatic who just pulled out without any plan.

I don't think it was that bad, not a great show admittedly. Both his overtakes were on straights, and I think the flashing car nervously over-reacted. His protest swerve in response was a dhead move mind, what if that had scared the other driver and he over compensated for it, in to a tree.

Exactly. You have no idea *at all* how the oncoming driver is going to react. A friend of mine, years back, performed an overtake, leaving a little less room than he thought, on the way home from work. The oncoming driver did exactly as you say, and overreacted. Swerved into the hedge and unfortunately hit a tree within the hedge. The oncoming driver was killed more or less instantly and shortly after my friend went to prison for 6 months.
It was ‘interesting’ to hear the story from both sides. On one hand, my friend; who made an error of judgement and spent half a year inside, and a further two years on a tag, no driving licence loss of job, etc etc. On the other, a family with no father, who viewed the ‘killer’ as getting away with it as he was only sentenced to 6 months.
Food for thought. Certainly slowed me down.

Overtaking now seems to be frowned upon. Not looked at the video, CBA. But There seems to be far too many drivers willing to trundle at 40mph or thereabouts behind slow traffic even when the road is clear.
If someone wants to make progress then allow them to, give a gap between vehicles so someone can overtake a queue of traffic safely and let them go on their merry way. Don't close the gap to stop someone using it, that's fking stupid.
Maybe they just know the road, and, for example, know that there's no point overtaking a car doing 40 behind a long line of other cars doing 40 with a wagon in the distance doing 40, perhaps approaching 30 limit. If someone wants to make progress then allow them to, give a gap between vehicles so someone can overtake a queue of traffic safely and let them go on their merry way. I'm not exaggerating when I say that on my 22 mile commute on single carriageway roads, a mixture of 30,40,50, and national speed limit, cars overtake me on the first decent bypass even though I'm travelling at sixty, and 20 mile later they'll still be only two or three cars in front as we pull up at a roundabout or a junction.
