No, it really, really isn't.
look you don't even own one, prob never will again and so your view is quite pointless.

I on the other hand keep trying to get back into the brand but they keep moving the goalposts, You goto a dealers and most demos have issues waiting to be fixed, by the time they are fixed the demo is out of date and a new model is out.

If Lotus don't do something by the 2020 Elise release they will go under.

Because having a load of die hard skint S1 owners is not going to keep them alive.

Every manufacturer has buyers who have terrible experiences with them and/or their products.

The huge majority of people who buy new Lotus cars seem to be happy with both their purchases and the after-sales support they receive; Lotus have one of the better customer retention rates in the industry (albeit probably not as high as Porsche's).

Wow there's a sweeping statement stereo typing/mocking a brand. Can't say I came across that issue when I was out looking and test driving earlier this year. Was this one dealer in particular or did you actually visit several dealers most of which had issues ?

Some of the dealer demo cars are Lotus press/demo cars which have various parts changed throughout their early life and don't necessarily reflect the production versions the punters order.

Dare I ask what you're basing this on? This another example of you making a strange, baseless assumption based on nothing but your own imagination.

It's totally irrelevant to the point, regardless.

Wow don't know why you respond to the Porsche guy, obviously looking for a argument and so rude and no idea on car ownership and what joy it can bring to people, no matter off brand or make, the guy is a joke.
