That looks very, very cool.
But please, honda can you f*ck off with the electric motor bks - please put the CIVIC TYPE R motor in this, front mounted driving the rear wheels, manual 6 speed, lsd. Thank you.
But then it couldn’t look like this, the reason for for today’s massive bonnet height is regs to create a large gap between pedestrians heads and the large block of metal below. But please, honda can you f*ck off with the electric motor bks - please put the CIVIC TYPE R motor in this, front mounted driving the rear wheels, manual 6 speed, lsd. Thank you.
No block = no gap
I think it’s an often overlooked benefit of the anti-EV brigade, packaging can be amazing once we look past the three box design.

How can a company that come up with this also be responsible for the atrocity that is the latest Civic Type-R?
True, but at least the civic isnt bland, which is a far bigger crime. They're just plain ugly. Massively fussy, too many badly contrasting lines. They're absolutely horrible to look at. Although the same goes for most of the current Honda range.
These 2 new ones though are pretty tidy.

By the time these reach production an internal combustion engine version will look like an insane proposition. But please, honda can you f*ck off with the electric motor bks - please put the CIVIC TYPE R motor in this, front mounted driving the rear wheels, manual 6 speed, lsd. Thank you.

Looks like a modern day interpretation of a Saab Sonnet to me.
*Thats* what it reminded me of. I could picture it, but not name it Also, these two cars exhibit just a wee hint of EVE from the film WALL-E...

Stick to your boring German barges mate, I think they are gorgeous....They're just plain ugly. Massively fussy, too many badly contrasting lines. They're absolutely horrible to look at. Although the same goes for most of the current Honda range.

If they actually build them without butchering the designs, and the EV drivetrain is properly resolved and engineered, I will buy both. So, so tired of modern cars being too big, for one thing.
What was that German project to build a sensibly-sized coupe, properly compact platform, shades of Alpine 110? I got very excited about it, then they went bust. Began with A, I think. Getting old...memory's going.
