I nominate the ten or so people trying look inconspicuous by looking at their phones or screens whilst crowding the usually empty ticket hall at my rail station.

Usually empty, because it’s not every day the rail revenue team are there to catch the fare dodgers leaving or arriving without a ticket.
Inspectors. Doing their job, Why knobs? :banditnono

The other team.
The ones who you see on a regular basis jumping barriers.

Every other fker on the A303/A34 early Sunday morning in the heavy rain. It was either:

- No lights.
- Tailgating.
- Following a car, then deciding to overtake it just as I'm about to pass them.
- Pootling along at 50mph, then deciding to speed up when I move out to overtake.

wkers, the lot of them rage

Anyone who parks in a picking up and dropping off point outside a supermarket. On my days off I help elderly members of my community by taking them shopping. I do not qualify for, want or have a blue badge so I drop them at the point, park in a regular space and pick them up when they're ready to go.

If the pick up/drop off point is blocked by ignorant owners parking their vehicles there I have no choice but to block the left lane of the roadway.

Two people used hand gestures outside of the highway code so I stopped one of them and directed their attention to the twunting chode compensating pretend off roaders and suggested if they had a problem they will find the owners sitting down in the male toilets having a pee.

I got an apology for that. wink

"Vehicle operator" A - Driving a Dangerous Vehicle due to insecure load or passengers - six to nine points and fine based on income.
- Dangerous/Careless Driving - six to nine points and unlimited fine.
- Minimum twelve points - Disqualification and retest.

"Vehicle operator" B - Using a mobile phone whilst driving - video clip - six points and a £250 fine.
- Using a mobile phone whilst driving second count - photo taken at traffic lights - six points £250 fine.
- Twelve points - Disqualification and retest.

These are supposed to be professional drivers so they should know better and hopefully as well as being made an example of by the Police; HSE should look into doing a full audit of the company they represent.

"Vehicle operator" as neither deserve the title "Driver".

Why do people bunch up in slow traffic on NSL roads ? The reason why the traffic is backed up is because you don't leave space

And why even after signalling for a length of time do people not let you in? Instead they rush to fill the gap you're trying to get into in the non moving traffic queue ? And after you've squeezed into the gap they start beeping and flashing like a mad thing ? I'm probably on camruh or something...

And while I'm going on, why have they put traffic lights on the sliproad on the A19 ? You have to get up to speed from a standing start to join the traffic (Also causes the above)

This happened to me on the A52 recently. I left a good twenty feet between me and the van in front. A couple of impatient people sat right on my and each others back bumpers while we were moving about ten-fifteen miles per hour. We came to a complete stop a short time later. Both lanes stationary and no hard shoulder. I still had a good fifteen feet between myself and the van ahead. A few horn beeps from behind then sirens as two FIre Engines were trying to get through.

I used my gap to pull over as far left as possible and the vehicles behind followed suit. Ones in the right lane went over close to the central barrier and the Fire Engines went down the middle.

If I hadn't left that gap the five or six idiots that were bumper to bumper directly behind me would have held the Emergency Services up.

I didn't need to make a point of it as they held back six to ten feet after that.

Sometimes instead of being selfish and frustrated about the traffic take a moment to think about what could be causing it and what you may need to do about it.

People driving about in the dark with just DRLs and nothing else.

Seen this on the motorway, car up ahead in complete darkness but DRLs shining at the front. Same happened the other day with a Renault driver pulling out from a junction and various people I see driving past in the early mornings.

Can only assume that due to the dashboard being permanently lit and having light shining from the LEDs up front they don't realise but still seems pretty stupid. More prevalent as the amount of daylight is getting shorter.

On the same stretch of road I was behind a police car and he was about 2 foot off the car in front constantly on the brakes - not exactly setting a good example. I don't claim to be the worlds best driver but I never have a need to use my brakes in traffic as I leave more than enough space. I also don't get mad at the cars flying down the inside and pulling over in front of me - just some people need to learn some patience

I was in the rougher end of a local town last night that seemed to be on the local boy racers circuit. I saw a Civic with the usual chrome wheels, noisy exhaust and Jap style graphics up the sides and rear. Not my taste, but not a knob you'd think. Then I saw what the graphics spelled out - "Bye, bye Police". I can imagine it impressing the 15 year old girls outside McDonalds, but surely getting pulled over every other time you took the car out would make it tiresome after a while.

Exactly that
When it was all fields around here, you would know you had no lights on when you noticed you couldnt read anything on the dashboard.
I have no idea why the car makers will not let the rear lights come on with the DRLs.

BITD when the Swedish makes were the only cars with DRLs ,the rears were on too but then SAAB dropped DRLs in about

1987 as they said the all plastic sidelight units would melt.

My Dad had Volvos for many years, I remember the DRLs (because he was about the only person in the UK who didnt pull the fuse) so we were always getting flashed by people to tell us our lights were on (remember when that was a thing?) but I cannot remember if the rears were always on
