As I don’t habitually carry a child, I parked miles away, then realised our granddaughter was on board.
I remember swinging my BMW into a blue badge spot, with accompanying looks from people nearby. I made sure my 95 year-old mother took ample time to get out.
My mum has a blue badge, and I never get looks, even in the C63 I had,

Some scumbum who didn't clear up after their dog means I have tyres and wheel arches covered in poo after taking to the grass verge to allow a tractor and wide trailer by.

Wonder what the dogs name was.....rather than stinking up my driveway.
Anyway this happened...
...last night so my car might be a write off anyway.
It was only a little bit of dog poo, a small hand brush and a little bit of water would have got rid of that, or a few days driving in the rain.

Unlucky.
Never thought about it before but is only the front windscreen covered with the usual excess and not the rest of the glass?
Stepping in dog poo is meant to be a sign of good luck
Pretty sure all glass is covered under the glass excess, not just the windscreen. I had a side window replaced that way.Never thought about it before but is only the front windscreen covered with the usual excess and not the rest of the glass?

The windscreen is fine, side windows okay but the rear window is no longer available (from their suppliers). I haven't found one as yet. Even a Honda Accord one. Grrrrr!
Still a nice T16 donor for a project eh?

Glass cover is the biggest rip off in the insurance industry. "I won't effect your no claims bonus" yet when I had a screen replaced my premium went up the following year by £200

It didn't affect your no claims, premium is separate. The windscreen is fine, side windows okay but the rear window is no longer available (from their suppliers). I haven't found one as yet. Even a Honda Accord one. Grrrrr!

That said, £200 is well below what a windscreen costs.
