People who park in parent and child spaces without a child
They may be picking up a child.
As I don’t habitually carry a child, I parked miles away, then realised our granddaughter was on board.
I remember swinging my BMW into a blue badge spot, with accompanying looks from people nearby. I made sure my 95 year-old mother took ample time to get out.
Was it your grandmother, or your grand daughter, who needed you to use the Blue Badge space in your story?

My mum has a blue badge, and I never get looks, even in the C63 I had,

How did that happen. Jet washing the window?

It was only a little bit of dog poo, a small hand brush and a little bit of water would have got rid of that, or a few days driving in the rain.

Random pebble in the road pinged out from my tyre and ricocheted back somehow. One of those things.

Unlucky.

Never thought about it before but is only the front windscreen covered with the usual excess and not the rest of the glass?

Stepping in dog poo is meant to be a sign of good luck smile

Pretty sure all glass is covered under the glass excess, not just the windscreen. I had a side window replaced that way.

Glass cover is the biggest rip off in the insurance industry. "I won't effect your no claims bonus" yet when I had a screen replaced my premium went up the following year by £200

The windscreen is fine, side windows okay but the rear window is no longer available (from their suppliers). I haven't found one as yet. Even a Honda Accord one. Grrrrr!

Still a nice T16 donor for a project eh?

I have had a few windscreen replacements over the years,, the last one last year, and none have increased my premium.

It didn't affect your no claims, premium is separate. wink

That said, £200 is well below what a windscreen costs.

I get nasty looks from OAPs when I park with OH in a blue badge bay, because we are not yet ancient! I always make sure I get out quickly & with no problems, which just makes them worse smile
UntiI have to help OH out!

The reporter on the BBC news covering the tolls being removed from the Seven crossing.
Empty inside lane so he drives over the bridge with an inside lane empty while he is sat in the middle lane.

I was with Aviva at the time. I think the new MD is called Richard Turpin.

He was obeying the sign on the bridge.

No BBC Reporters allowed in Lane One.

He is blameless.
