People who see an accident coming and do nothing to avoid it.

E.g. The 2 clips here https://youtu.be/0kB5Tsw1ffs?t=67

First one might not have been avoidable, but he definitely could have done more. Listen to his rage though, talk about not taking things personally on the road.

Next/Second one with the silver fiesta is definitely avoidable and I'm completely baffled as to why they didn't even try... bizarre behaviour.
First one the black hatch ran a red light, what was the driver supposed to do?

There was plenty of time to stop/avoid in both cases, in the first clip it was obvious that they'd driven through a traffic light and are therefore unlikely to bother stopping to give way...

personally, I don't tend to run a lot of red lights and by default expect nobody to be driving through on a green, so I have to disagree as we clearly have different views on who the knob is.

I agree with you. By the time he realised there wouldn't be much which could be done, other than the last minute swerve right which he did.

Sorry to have to break it to you like this, but you have won the 'Charmer of the Month' award with that post.
I really cannot, with the prose and precision that you demostrate, think of a single post that will surpass that what you wrote.
Congratulations!

you chopped out the rest of what i said to prove a point which does not exist.
...and some fell on, very stony, ground...

Do you always resort to that response when you can't offer an intelligent retort? Seems like it is the case.

bullst. Well, it depends what you mean by respect. if you mean not endanger, not interfere with the progress of, etc then yea fine. If you mean you need to piddle along behind someone going far slower so as to not upset them, then that view can take a fking hike.
Judging by the manner of their motion & the rapidity of their obvious indignation when challenged I'm convinced many of the sort exampled take a vindictive delight in deliberately inconveniencing others, thus I have difficulty in being respectful.

Not so much a knob today but very daft. I was waiting in a filter lane to turn right across a 2 lane d/c, van in opposite L2 flashes me like crazy to turn, and throws his hands up in despair when I dont. except that he forgets about,or didnt see,the car in L1 that WAS'NT flashing me, so if I HAD turned,I would have driven right into him!

...(
This!

I see it all the time, other drivers trying to drive for you. For example, waiting to turn right across traffic, last car in oncoming stream decides to stop and flash you to cross in front of them. If they had continued driving, the road would have been clear for me anyway, and probably out of the way quicker and definitely less confusion for all concerned.

No they didn't, it's just a give way (see below). I agree the dashcam car is obviously not at fault, but that's not the point, he definitely could have done more, there was no attempt to avoid the crash at all. Then again it's dark, raining and it's much easier for me to say I would do something different from the computer chair. The second clip however...

Note that I'm not at stating that the people at fault aren't knobs either, they are. My point is that just because you have a dashcam and are in the right from insurance purposes and law and whatever doesn't mean you should crash for the sake of it.

Aah, I'd assumed it was a controlled junction.

Still, I feel you're judging the driver a little harshly, he swerved to avoid rather than plough on straight through.

TBH on the 1st couple of views I thought the guy opening his car door was the one he hit, so maybe the cam driver was fixated on tha. The 2nd one could have been avoided but you cant claim for whiplash that way

Me. Loosing my wedding ring for the second time in under two years married. The first time we had to locate it in a one tonne bag of broken plasterboard. This time, missing since Wednesday, I had tried all avenues, bins, torch through gaps in floorboards, under everything, nowhere to be seen. Finally resigned myself to the fact it was gone, when the wife text, having found it on the ground over her allotment. Phew, time to superglue it to my finger!

Is it perhaps a little too small? hehe

I don't think rings should be slipping off your finger.

I do wear disposable latex gloves when at work, but that comes with its own problem, being snug they can take it off with them. Moving forward I will wear them for gardening mind!

The ring is sized correctly, god knows how it came off, but my own silly fault, been helping her on the allotment preparing a Chicken run/coops for pending chicks.
