I guess multiple knobs here (both the dodgy sellers but also the moronic buyer IMO)

Basic overview is a lad on a Ford forum posting about how he'd been "mugged off bruv" & "ripped off by da connaz innit" buying parts for his Focus ST by sending a fair chunk of money, via Paypal as a Gift, in the hope of getting expensive Mountune parts in return for far less than the expected used retail prices.

The thread's since been deleted (much like on PH where the new OP flounces and requests deletion when he doesn't get the responses he wants and people point out his own massive fk up / stupidity, etc) so I can't copy / paste, but his rant lost credibility when you realised what a moron he'd been.

Basically sending a large sum of money via Paypal to a seller flogging parts from a Gumtree account, with ads (now deleted) registered in an area of Birmingham well known for dodgy people supposedly "breaking" cars which are more likely to have been stolen, etc.

If that wasn't enough to make you think twice before sending money, surely common sense for most would have kicked in the moment that you realised the "business" sellers to contact on the advert were listed as Muhat Maghan-Di, Mu Hammad-Ali, and best of all Mu Thather-Esa.

Now, do any of those seem familiar when you change their arrangement / spelling slightly? Not to Mr Focus ST evidently - FML laugh

When you are on a roundabout, with indicator on, turning right.
Someone looks at you and still pulls out in front of you then gives you the finger as if you are in the wrong.

Seems to be getting more common.
Not like a Discovery 3 is a small car to miss...
This is the main reason i do not indicate on roundabouts EXCEPT when paasing the junction before the one i am exiting . They see an indicator and think it is ok. No indicator makes them think for that second or too more

My dad's a grumpy bd, he'll "accidentally" walk into people not looking where they're going on a phone or stop in front of them.

Q5 this morning VO59 ***

Lane 3, speed matching the car in L2 at 69mph. For about 2 miles that I saw!

When he FINALLY accelerated slightly (and the driver in L2 slowed) and moved over. And everyone started passing him (yep they exceeded the speed limit, but there was a fairly substantial amount of free space now in L3 and L2)

He's giving everyone the finger out his driver window.

If you're reading this. Go outside and throw your keys down the drain. Then never drive again! You're a fking liability! rolleyes

You fking ! laugh I hope someone you swore at was a copper!

ETA

Way home tonight a Mini and a Corolla not exactly doing merge in turn properly. laugh Mini was forcing it, but Toyota wasn't letting them have it. So Mini drove down the outside of Toyota, passed another 3 cars on the hatchings/central reservation area and pushed in further on.

When dicks meet laugh

I actually found I had less people pulling out on my when I additionally indicated going around.

It was my dad that pulled me up on it and explained that I was giving people an even choice by making them guess.

I have always indicated left, but the difference was still noticeable.

Yep this. In theory I should be just as noticeable in my Mazda Bongo but that doesn't seem to make a difference.

It's not less 'less', it's 'fewer'.

Did your Dad really explain that?

He was a practical but intelligent man, who had a clear talent for spotting the obvious.

However, not a pendant when it came to spelling.

I have not had anyone pull out in front of me whilst on a roundabout for ages, whereas years ago I used to think it normal.

It's more a question of grama than speilingg.

Knob this morning in a Passat (alarm bells ringing), who decided that indicator means priority and tried to merge into a gap that wasn't there (from L2 to L3 of a motorway, about a car or two length in front of me). Then getting the huff (horn, several minutes of flashing) when he realised that I was there and he didn't have space.

00% Agree these people have no idea how one should drive on a motorway.
We have these big electric signs on motorways, why they can't post up "Keep left after overtaking" beats me?
Because no self-respecting MLM pays attention to signs on the motorway. You'd get a better response if you texted it to them.

"Congestion - use hard shoulder" yet they're all piled up in L1-3, and the hard shoulder is empty. While it's wasting available road space, I see the perk of having the hard shoulder almost entirely to myself in these situations, meaning I can have a great big gap between myself and the vehicle ahead, unlike those bumper to bumper in the other lanes.

Then of course there's "hard shoulder for junction X only", there's always some muppet who drives past these signs in L1 for a few miles, before moving to the hard shoulder at the 200 yard marker board. Why?!

Both above are proof that you could say anything you like on those gantry boards and still none of the moronic MLMs would notice.

On my way home this morning the fifty road on the outskirts of town, two HGV's were headed toward me. One indicated to turn left into a yard so I backed off a little in case that artic' needed to swing out.

Lucky I did because the truck behind wasn't paying attention and pulled into my lane to avoid driving into the back of the one turning.

eek

Emergency stop and the truck missed the front of my car by about six feet. If I wasn't already slowing down for the artic' swinger it could have been messy.

The woman on the slip road last night.

Narrow slip road with 2 lanes, both backed up with traffic up to the junction.

Ambulance approaces blue light and sirens on...not really much space for either lane to go but some people squeeze over and it manages to get about half way up.

Woman in a Corsa I think, pulls diaganolly across the lane not really creating any space just blocking the lane completely.

Meanwhile all the cars in front have managed to move out the way so the lane is clear.

She just sat there as the ambulance driver blared his bull horn - I stuck my arm out the window and signalled her to drive ahead on the now clear lane.

She did for a bit then doubled up against another car in the other lane but thankfully the ambulance managed to squeeze past.

What goes on in these peoples heads!?

Top of the list has to be the spelling and grammar police.

I can see the need when text speak is used and nobody can understand the message, or where the incorrect word is actually funny, by mistake, but sadly most times it just seems to be some prissy knob with no ideas of their own and an inferiority complex.
