For the final time: Burnzyb is driving a car and does not de-ice his rear window. My posts refer to only him. All other references to vans, caravans, HGV, mobility scooters, horses and roller skates are invalid.

Now, where's that sock drawer that needs sorting!..sleephehe
For the final time, how is it any different to driving a car derived van? where the manufacturer has chosen to remove side and rear windows and the dreaded rear view mirror, I think you need to go straight to the press and put your complaint in about these dangerous cars being manufactured.

Some of us on here clearly have the skill set to drive a vehicle safety without a rear view mirror or visibility out the rear window, just because you don’t hold that skill set don’t jump up and down making it out to be dangerous.
My posts have concentrated on the fact that you do not clear the rear window of YOUR CAR. No other vehicles arr relevant. The posts are about you and the fact that your rear window remains covered in ice.

I'll try and make this simple, because you're so fking stupid. If it's not dangerous to drive a van or any other vehicle without a rear view mirror, it's not dangerous to drive a car without de-icing the rear window.

Outside lane hogs always come across as knobs, but there is something that seems to be getting more common. In the last few weeks, I've come up behind another car in the outside lane (dual carriageway), with nothing in the inside lane for a distance. After a bit, the car in front pulls over, I go past and go into the inside lane as there is nothing to overtake. The car that I have just overtaken goes back into the outside lane, holding up any cars behind me. It's happened a few times recently and makes no sense at all to me.

It's pretty stupid not to de-ice your rear window though. Only takes a minute with either a scraper or the heated rear window button.

Driving on the A11 Sunday. It was very wet and raining. Some knob was tailgating a lorry FFS. Even in clear dry conditions it would have been to close but given the amount of spray coming off the truck, one must wonder just what the fk was going on inside the drivers head.

That’s the thing, I still press the rear heated screen when I jump in the car, and obviously put the heaters on which will eventually defrost the rear, but just to get me up and moving safely in the morning I’ll only do the fronts smile

There's no legal requirement for an interior mirror as long as you have both door mirrors intact. It's no different from driving with a large load which blocks the rear screen.
Indeed, it would be completely useless in my Ultima as there is no rear window. Which is why I have fitted a screen in its place linked to a rear facing camera as all I can see in the door mirrors is the massive rear wing!

Potentially, yes - if they're involved in a collision, that lot flying around could cause some serious damage.

On a non-window related note..Me, for ordering 3M USB cables, not realising that 3M is the manufacturer, not the length!

If I remember correctly, as I was born in the 40's, none of the above were featured on my father's cars.Or indeed, apart from a heater, on my first car. driving

you don't just get to behave how you like. You don't get to dismiss people at being pissed off at what you say as 'just a joke'. You don't get to resort to reams and reams of name calling to support your alf garnett attitude, and you definitely don't get to use your grandfather committing suicide as an excuse for the way you act. I suggest you stop right now.
Of course you do.

You might not like it, but there's precisely fk all you can do about it, unless you feel he's broken some sort of law and you want to report him.

Other than that, yes, he can dismiss people that are pissed off at him as much as he likes.

As much as I dislike the phrase "Wind your neck in" it really does seem to apply here.

I also don't particularly like Stephen Fry, but I do agree completely with his stance on 'being offended'.

you've utterly missed my point. I am saying he doesn't get to go around in life treating people with genuine mental illness as a joke, just because he doesn't fking understand it or doesn't think it's real. It isn't a 'free speech' or 'oo poor offended snowflakes' argument, it's quite simply being a .
