To be fair, if I was unaware of the car setup, that would annoy me too!
You can see it's a very low car and likely stiffly sprung. Pretty obvious he'll be very careful, unlike the zombie driving 4x4 brigade.Having read Fatboy's description of his car and also seen it under his "my garage" (assuming it is the Viper), I understand why he does it with this particular car.
However if was not aware of this, I would find it annoying. That is by no means a criticism of him nor anyone else who does the same to protect their car.

The covid is a mechanism/lever to make governmental policy change.
Utter bullcrap.Be a good little boy and the gov might let you have your family round and maybe even go for a pint if you do a few start jumps, walk backwards, clap on a thursday night and take a knee.

Thinking is not your strong suit, clearly.
And this is how you start to lose any credibility Mafffew said:
Stiff/low cars do not necessarily mean they will wait for oncoming traffic to pass before navigating speed humps.

Fatboy would get a pass on speed bumps from me, but not the local Mini Kr3W who have largely barry'd up S's with barely an exhaust, stretched tyres and cartoon camber settings to help navigate Mcdonalds drive through that much quicker. I actually hope to see oil after they clear the speed bumps. Last time I mentioned the New Zealand 10cm rule and still think it should be introduced to the UK.

I can't work out what your actual point is.That Covid is just an excuse for the government to implement tighter controls on the populace for their own ends?
Or
They are doing this because they think it's necessary to stop the spreads of the disease. In fact stupid decisions, really stupid decisions and smart decisions I haven't seen many examples where that hasn't been the motivation about CV. I am not sure any conspiracy theory stands up to scrutiny when the government resisted doing what the majority wanted for as long as possible, seem to have followed expert advice and then have pushed to relax restrictions as soon as possible. The new powers they took have hardly changed anything, most things people complain about are powers they have had for decades.

....and on that subject..
Health economists SQW were commissioned to calculate how much it saves the NHS when someone takes up cycling (from health/pollution gains).
In 2020 that figure is £630/year.
Only c5% of UK adults ride once a week or more. If we double that, the NHS would save nearly £2bn.

Wonder what it would be if they include the VAT on all the gear one buys when taking up cycling in that figure, plus wear and tear savings on the infrastructure (assuming bike journeys replace some car journeys, I'm pretty sure a bike wears the tarmac out more slowly than a 1-2-tonne car).
