Cool styling but front lift would only work if the front bumper didnt go under the front wheels (and needing 12" four wheel lift).

But this is an interesting concept, as are the noise ideas, Tron, Ties & Star Wars ships in general have cool noises, driving round in a Blade Runner movie would be pretty cool and would slightly offset the horror of having to drive round in a lardy battery barge at 20mph "road safety speeds" controlled by satelite while you wear a heart monitor watch that auto bills you for breathing more air than you should have or perspiring after seeing the bill and getting another bill for wasting water. At major service, your batteries need replacing, bill gives you a heart attack and you die, saving the Gov from paying your pension.

The futures a nightmare, but damn we will look good doing it thumbup

Is that model a Bertone Lancia Stratos HF Zero? Wonder what that's doing there?

Fear not. It will come with a button (or app I guess) that will let it magically re-mould into a shape you find more desirable. It will also be able to reduce it's width by up to a half to get in tight parking spaces at Tescos and transform itself into a beige 'R' reg Fiesta when the old bill are chasing you around the M25.

This, is the future of electrickery and cars

Clearly an inspiration. In fact, when I saw the first few pictures of the extreme forward cockpit and glass I thought of the Bertone design. Nice to see them acknowledge it.

They might be MIT, but as far as i am aware they can't actually change the laws of physics, namely:

"The energy stored in a capacitor is proportional to the potential difference at which that charge is stored"

and

"The Power produced by an electric motor is proportional to the voltage supplied to that motor"

It should therefore be very obvious that there is a fundamental difficulty with using capacitors to effectively power a vehicle........

Hmm, so it would appear that the coil of the motor is wound around the rim... I wouldn't fancy the repair costs if you curbed it!

Very nice. A proper leap forward in design.

Hmm, i assume that's just graphics on the rims, as it would be catastrophically stupid to house the coil windings on the moving bit and the PMs on the static bit..........

Not to mention that wheel motors are completely un-suited to in-wheel traction application for many complex reasons, which is why you haven't seen an EV with wheel motors in production.....

The rear view is very nice and very exotic. They should apply it to a new model asap.

This is obviously just a personal point of view, but I have never been able to fathom why people are impressed with images of cars that sit on the road they’re supposed to be driving on. Even as a young teenager I wouldn’t have been impressed with these images. It looks st and could never be driven anywhere.

But each to their own.

Not sure if I love it or hate it.....confused

Veneno and Sesto Elemento are utterly bonkers but this might be too much.

That looks epic. Surely one of the best of late from any super car manufacturer.

As for electric car noises they should use some of the sounds from the combat drones in Oblivion, they sound epic and would suit the look of this thing no end.

Just fit it with a small gas turbine range extender engine if you want the epic sounds to go with the looks!
