I love the idea of a modified Wind.

I wonder if anyone's transplanted a F4RT engine into one?

(I know it sounds like a bad pun but I'm serious- that's the Mégane 2 litre engine code...)

Not sure I'd want much more power.

Half height springs and a jittery ride mean its about right on country lane with the power it has, start putting more power and its going to struggle for grip.

as for the MX5 comparison, the wind does have 2 advantages as far as my other half is concerned, its got a solid roof and the boot for a convertible is huge!

If she had the money though she'd have an MX-5 RF

I'd buy one and then just tell people I bought it for farting about in wink

In all fairness, I think it looks quite ugly, but it's certainly different! I must admit to being surprised by the fact it's got a petrol, I'd always throught they were electric, which would have explained the heidously enormous sides.

You mightn't like the Renault Wind but at least the boot which is a respectable size never gets any smaller if you put the roof up or down, but like every other car has it's own things that need changing!
