I presume that once out of a certain range of the ley the car will stop? This is what the wifes old megan did.
Surely not. It completely cut out?

However I think it's a great idea. Hate the act of having to reach into pocket to lock and unlock car but also more importantly hate having to scramble round with a key trying to get it into the ignition.

Keyless is the future, more and more it will without a doubt become standard.

the reason i will *never* spec it.
Problem solved for under a tenner... http://amzn.to/2ssRNrC

It totally blocks the key's signal, even when stood directly next to a car. So if thieves come during the night (or day), their relay hacking equipment won’t work.

That only solves the problem if people can be bothered to use it.

I think phone based NFC is a better solution personally, simply because people don't tend to leave their phones just inside the front door.

I think most don't do that for safety reasons. Once they're started they will run until they are told to stop, regardless of where the key is.
Yes this! They don't cut out, when you turn off the ignition I won't restart without the fob. If I get out the car whilst running and move away with the fob the car beeps like mad!

I'm a big fan of keyless entry/go, very convenient. Jury's still out my my electronic parking brake. I liked a handbrake, I never liked Mercedes foot activated/hand deactivated solution so electronic beats that I suppose but keyless is excellent.
