Never been a massive fan of aston but that to me looks stunning. Id never have bought one due to looks anyway but this makes the hidious db11 look like the pile of st it is!
That interior is miles ahead of where aston were a mere 2 years ago, congrats for entering this decade 7 years late!

The rear three quarter view reminds me of the Renault Laguna Coupe. Would want to it in real life as it looks over styled in the photographs to me compared with the elegant simplicity of the original car.

Yeuch! That is savagly horrendous. Imagine being seen in it! Reminds of this for some reason.

I'd like to know that reason, as they look totally different.

Really not sure about the front, it's a little underwhelming and it kind of reminds me of an MX5.

The back looks nice as does the side. Perhaps it looks better in the metal .

This is the most exciting Aston Martin for a long time. I'm not in a position to do so but I have always favoured Ferrari/Lambo over Aston Martin, maybe I'm just getting old but this looks a lot more dynamic.

The race (GTE) version just looks epic:

So wanted to love this car - but guess it will grow on me. I guess Aston have gone the way of all the others with so much aero spoiling the looks, maybe we'll never see cars again with the original purity of the V8 or the DB9.

It can be spec'ed in a more gentlemanly manner...
Mine looks similar to yours.

I still think it looks like a Grand Theft Auto version of an Aston Martin (google Dewbauchee Specter). Front lights are a bit S15 silvia, or Jag XF facelift or as most people have said ND MX5.

It needs a chin, if the bottom lip was body coloured it would look miles better.

Still it is improved greatly by having body coloured "side grille", silver wheels, body coloured roof, body coloured door handles, silver mesh grille...

Rear light bar makes it look a bit sad, not a good look. Cars should either be aggressive or happy.

It's a very lovely shape, overall, but I cannot get past:-

i) the busy / fussy interior - it looks no different to a mid-spec Merc (and the colour combination in the OP looks like a bachelor's toiletry bag from 1986)

ii) that gawping (or, should that be "gopping"?) front grille

Some of it looks good. Some of it looks OK. Some of it looks awful. The original looked stylish and elegant everywhere (IMO). Maybe I'm getting old.......

This has to be the best looking car produced ever, it's lines and proportions are perfect.
yes exquisite. I rate this second only to the 288GTO. Regarding the new one, interior horrible, exterior growing on me. I’ll never see it as a beautiful car though, which is a shame for an Aston.

The grille....

Its kinda ok on its own but add in that black plastic lip all around it and it doesnt work , the mx5 looks more resolved.

When I saw the interior I instantly thought merc amg gt

Rest of it looks good

I’d say so. That best looking photo of the Aston so far though!
ETA I see where you’re coming from with regard to the sills though.

Both use extruded and bonded aluminium tubs with composite exterior panels.
Both use bought in powertrains.
Both use bought in interior technology.
Both have their chassis developed by Mr B.
Both look better in the flesh than photos.
Both sound great.

Lol, someone in the Aston design department has been cutting and pasting from the Lotus website. Lotus need to get the lawyers in.

This has to be the first sports car I have seen that actually looks better with a front number plate, I never thought I would ever say that.

When the DB11 was revealed I was not blown away with the looks, but having recently test driven the V8 version I love it. I hope the Vantage also looks a lot better in the flesh. Like others I don't think the grille works in pictures, final judgement will be when I see one on the flesh
