What Auto only cars would you like offered as a Manual?

The E46 CSL is certainly a car in desperate need of a three pedal manual...from what I've read about it's SMG gearbox.
This pretty much sums up this threadwhy are people so obsessed in there being a knob to fiddle with in a car they have never even driven?
Plenty love the E46 CSL because of its SMG for sure, but it would have been nice to have been given a choice though.

It's funny I wouldn't want a manual with my CLK63.

The Ferrari 458 is a great shout, I think you can get the normal F-Type V6 with a manual...and it's a shame the V8 model isn't offered with one too. Jag F Type V6S

At the more affordable end, I'd like a manual gearbox with a petrol engine in the Jaguar XE. Why is it you get lumbered with a diesel engine if you want a manual box in any quality saloon?
By the way, I've always moaned about autos never being in the gear I would like, and the horrible way the engine revs with a torque converter. For the first time this week, my 18 year old daughter (passed her test in July) was a passenger in an auto car and came back saying how much she hated it. Quote "It was always in the wrong gear, either too high or reving too much, and it kept changing gear like it couldn't make its mind up, you'd have hated it" .................that's my girl

On AT, guess what the % of total F-types available are manual?
20%?
10%?
5%?
3.6%!!
No wonder manufacturers can't be bothered to offer them any more on new models. Such a shame.
But then I don't want to fork out for a new one, so I get that I'm not even in the voting.
I wonder how many automatics or duel clutch cars are bought because they are the fastest? For instance, a DCT M4 has launch control and can shift quicker so will be faster on paper.
But what if, say, BMW launches a limited run, manual only, lightweight, hardcore CSL that was the fastest? Would that be a sell out hit? Or if Audi was to launch a manual only RS5+,
or even a manual only Mercedes C63s Black, would they be the more popular ones?

Jaguar XFR(S). A 5.0 litre supercharged V8, RWD, a talented chassis and... only a ZF to choose from. Yes it's a comfy sports saloon but come on; that setup is begging for an oar to row it with. I'm debating my next car. I've been put off the Mustang 5.0 manual, and the XFR would be perfect - if it had three pedals.

Based on the Porsche model, yes, people would love them and buy them. And these not even the need for them to be the fastest. Look at the 911R. All big engined RWD cars, especially BMW M5 and AMG Mercedes.
Wasn’t the E60 M5 offered with a manual in the US, but wasn’t rated very highly?downsman said:

I couldn't agree more - why bother making it RWD then only fitting a manual gearbox in the diseasels? Alfa seem to have done exactly the same with the Giulia! And Bomma220, they did make manual XJ12s for a couple of years (1976 and 1977 IIRC). A guy I know used to race a manual one in the JDC series, but he's currently awaiting a rebuilt engine!

Literally all of them. I cannot think of a single car that I would not like the option of a manual gearbox on.
Would a Rolls Royce be better with a manual? I'm not anti-auto by any means: I'd take a two-pedal modern 911 over a three-pedal one any day, but for some cars it would be nice to try something different.
