Often easier & cheaper to replace the whole assembly - especially if there are other bushes/joints in it as these are also going to be worn.
But without you saying exactly which vehicle it's on you've no chance of an accurate reply.

Just be wary of aftermarket parts whicy are poor quality.
Replace in pairs and use quality items.

Fair enough replacing stuff like discs in pairs, but if it's a near side bush that has disintegrated due to a pavement parking mouth breather crashing up and down kerbs, why would you replace both sides? Just be wary of aftermarket parts whicy are poor quality.

Aftermarket bottom arms for Audi's tend to be o.e. items with the audi badge ground off....for instance, do you think the car manufacturers make all their own parts?

I understand what you're saying but it would make logical sense would it not that if one bush has failed the other is not unlikely to fail soon after? Why pay for alignment twice.

Dont be so silly, just because you can buy OE components with the logo removed, doesnt mean that st quality parts are not sold. In fact the availability of poor quality pattern parts almost certainly outstrips the decent ones these days.
