Better bring their car details down to the chassis number if they do!

Aftermarket bottom arms for Audi's tend to be o.e. items with the audi badge ground off....for instance, do you think the car manufacturers make all their own parts?
Dont be so silly, just because you can buy OE components with the logo removed, doesnt mean that st quality parts are not sold. In fact the availability of poor quality pattern parts almost certainly outstrips the decent ones these days.
Silly indeed.

Not like working on VAG cars for 8 years to know what is good or bad quality.

Euros/Ebay own brand lower control arms for a Mk5 for example?
The console bush housings use a poor quality rubber and also the housing itself is the wrong size so you cannot replace with an upgraded poly bush or upgraded OE bush (Audi S3).

The difference between VAG branded, OEM (eg Lemforder) and cheap tat (Eg Q-drive) is night and day in 99% of cases.

Fair enough replacing stuff like discs in pairs, but if it's a near side bush that has disintegrated due to a pavement parking mouth breather crashing up and down kerbs, why would you replace both sides?
I understand what you're saying but it would make logical sense would it not that if one bush has failed the other is not unlikely to fail soon after?

Why pay for alignment twice.
If it's only a bush being replaced I wouldn't bother aligning at all.

Ok.

When I changed my bushes on my Scirocco my toe was a total of 8.2 degrees out (across both axles).

Anti roll bar bush? You'd probably be fine.
Wishbone bush? Absolutely.

I suspect we're dealing with a 17/18 year old judging by the poor grammar of the OP.
So the car will be a Fiesta or Corsa or equivalent. A replacement wishbone will be cheap as chips on eBay (circa £30). Fairly easy to change.

like the last poster, I have the same opinion. Perhaps, OP might like to wait for Xmas, where he'll get access to a decent wishbone, fresh from, what I suspect he is- a Turkey.

hi all need some advice failed mot on suspension arm has excessive play in a pin / bush , does this mean i need new front wishbone assembly
There is a whole lot of possibilities??? It could be possible to change the pin? or may be the bush? also possible it will need a suspension arm? if not fit a wishbone? while your at it change the other side as well.
Most important before you start fit a new ECU, (that`s the brain.)
