Yep, very interesting.
Had never heard of the 'Essex boys' before, probably too young, but bloody hell there's some graphic photo's out there! Only did a quick google and within a few clicks found a site full of photo's that you'd think only the police would have access to!

The killer drove an Astra GTE but there's no photos of that online.
There's actually a photo with the GTE in it: somebody on Autoste managed to find an aerial photograph of the area, where Ryan's Astra can just about be picked out. It's a nice picture of the area, and a worthless picture of the car. Ryan shot the car up himself before the end of his spree. The 320d used in Salisbury looks to have been a nice colour too! Being an ES model, am I right in thinking it would have had virtually minimal spec?
I'm not sure if the Police got around to auctioning it, but the car used to transport the body of Suzanne Pilley, murdered in Edinburgh back in 2010, was destined to be sold. The man found guilty argued that it should be retained until the end of his sentence as it could be used as evidence in any future review of his conviction
Although the body was never recovered, the Police believed the car had been used off road to dispose of it; the purchaser would definitely need to get the suspension looked at as a three of the springs were found to be broken!

JFK lincoln is in the Henry Ford museum in Detroit
Also there is the chair Lincoln was shot in
One other gem is Edisons last breath
There are pictures of Ford Edison Eastman and Firestone out camping
Can you imagine how the world would have turned out if a bear got those 4?
Back to the breath. Ford collected building from all over the US and had them rebuilt in Greenfield. There are Edisons workshops and the Wright brothers workshops and Firestones farmhouse
Ford got to hear of his mates imminent demise and asked Edisons son to hold a large test tube under his nose ,and bottle the last exhalation. Which he did
Inside it is a treasure trove of US home history 1950s diners early white goods, stacks of cars ,not all Fords either. Jim Clarks Indy Lotus a DC-3 an Chesapeake and Ohio 2-6-6-6- loco. The tender holds 25k gallons of water and 25 tons of coal. in comparison to the A4 of the LNER ( see Mallard) that held 9 ton of coal tops and 5k gallons of water
Great place to visit. It is a at least a two day visit, one for the inside ,the other for the buildings

Barbera red, quite a rare colour. I seem to remember an article about someone who bought a Rolls Royce (Savile’s?) and was moaning that he couldn’t use it for weddings etc anymore and lost a load of cash on it
