autoste forum suggests theres a clean but dirty triumph vitese parked up in barnet reg JHA303A , all taxed and insured but with a notice its going to be towed away as an abandoned car

wondered if anyone knows the owner...be a shame to have it taken away

A mate of mine is in the triumph vitesse owners club so I'll pass on the details.

And yes it would be a shame if that car gets taken away and crushed.

Perhaps illness or injury is at the root of the problem. One does think that it would be better to remove the car oneself - even illegally - rather than see it sent to the crusher. How sad.

sites suggest the council has been called off , if you can trust them

and no im not sure its a good idea to steal someones car

I understand from Triumph sites that the car is taxed, insured and MoTed, so the Council was outwith its powers in issuing the order, even if it had been sitting on the street for a while.

It was a whimsical suggestion, only mused to save a car from the crusher. But if the order has been revoked then all well and good.
