Oh god. I did not spot it at first .... that door handle can't be unseen

And if you need to get four adults/a child seat in a car with 4wd, Ferrari will sell you one with a high revving V12

I usual like a car thats different but this looks like a Toyota crossover with a Citroen DS5 interior. Shame ,Bentley failed at this high end SUV market and so has Lambogenie.
Crazy that a 30 year old G wagon still looks better than these efforts.

You think that door handle is bad? Just wait until they release the diesel version. Then you’ll know what controversy is. PistonHeads would explode.

there are loads of information out there have a google if you want. Like i posted as a whole they get 20% overall profit across models, but some models will be offering very high profit margins once options added, Porsche don't do it for fun, i think they are one of the best profitable car makers out there.

I guess having to use the Q7 platform severely constrained the designers.
That's a slightly misleading comment. Yes it's based on the same archetecture as the Q7 but then so is the Audi A4 which is hardly a similar looking car. As with MQB, MLB basically determines the position of the front wheels relative to the pedalbox and engine and that's about it.
I’d guess that’s the case when the cars you want to make are much of a muchness based closely on the normal vw range. The compromises here indicate that for a car the size of the Q7 the platform is fairly limited in key dimensions.

Wouldn’t it have been great to see a proper Lambo 4x4! I suspect this makes much more sense in terms of profit though!

I'm sure the order books will be loaded for this one. Not the type of thing I like, myself.
I remember when the Countach was in production & the VERY rare occasion that I saw one - it would be talked about for days. If I see a Gallardo pass in the opposite direction now, I don't even bother to look in the mirror to check it out. Once these Urus's are plentiful on the road, I'm sure the same will apply, which is a shame, as Lamborghini certainly isn't as exclusive & special as it once was.
When seeing a Lambo was a rare occasion and talked about for days is the reason they ended as part of VAG. Exclusivity & special didn’t equate to profits.

The interior is designed to sell, not impassion. I'd say the same of the exterior, but apparently many around here think differently.

I’m not sure what I think of it compared to the original show car. Not my sort thing but it got my attention... it was always going to change in transition to production and something has been lost along the way. It looks bigger than it needs to be, maybe the restyle is a little forced/compromised to fit the platform.... if that makes sense...?
Can’t fault the promo though

Without a V12 (or even a V10), not really a proper lambo, just a rebaged and facelifted Cayenne turbo.
That would mean the Urraco (2, 2.5 and 3 liter V8), Silhouette (3 liter V8) and Jalpa (3.5 liter V8) weren't real Lamborghinis.

They were at least good looking sports cars rather than some hideous SUV.

Chris Harris posted something on twitter similar to this - don’t fault Lambo for doing it, just the idiots who created the market.

I would go a little further, no matter how good the car will be, it’s going to be in so many rap videos, seen on so many “YouTube influencer” videos and driven by rich morons that it’s most likely going to be a big turn off. Won’t stop them selling, but I can’t help feeling it’s a shed load of engineering that simply won’t get appreciated or driven.

And, the next getaway car of choice? One step up from an RS6?

Lamborghini ANUS

God this is just what the world needs right now isn't it - another sodding great fake off roader that's too big for UK roads and will be driven by the tragically self important and the terminally vain.

Liked the look of it at first until I saw the rear door handle - and now, like a few other posters, I can't unsee it...

I wouldn't say no but to me the whole point of such a vehicle is to waft along in comfort, as one would in a Range Rover, and not to have any pretense of sporting or high speed cornering ability.
